This limited series stars André Holland as Black Panther leader Huey P. Newton, and is executive produced by NAACP Image Award winner Janine Sherman Barrois, Jim Hecht, and Joshuah Bearman, with the first two episodes directed and executive produced by multi-award winner Don Cheadle. The six-episode drama chronicles the story of Black Panther leader Huey P. Newton’s escape to Cuba, and is based on the monumental, eponymous magazine article of the same name.

The legacy of Huey Newton and the Black Panthers is too important and deep for this silly, whimsical, false portrayal. And no, I'm not impressed that it has a Black Executive Producer.

the first thing i went to after seeing this trialer is the credits, the PA's, gaffers, clothes and set designers, writers to the CO's... the bts better have 70% black people

I keep hearing negative reviews on this and i am not sure why. It was well scripted, black produced and directed. I was in this film and thought nothing but greatness about it. I guess people just enjoy to be negative.
