In our first video we share with you the 5 reasons we walked away from Battle Born Batteries, dumping our 10 12v 100Ah lithium batteries (at a loss) and switched to Enduro Power (reason #5 is a really big deal!) Wondering why we needed such a massive battery bank? Check below for links to our 2 tour videos by Tom and Cheri on their channel Enjoy The Journey.

Hi, we are Joshua and Elizabeth, full time Boondocking RVers and we’re on a journey to weave together our desire to be more self-sufficient like our pioneer ancestors, with our love of modern technology, building our online businesses, all while living off grid. Join us as we explore ways to bring together these 2 seemingly opposing goals through creativity and just taking that first step towards our goal, even if we don’t have the whole journey mapped out yet. We know where we want to go, we just need to figure out how to get there! Please hit that subscribe button and the bell so you can get notifications on new videos.

Boondock Buddy
Interested in learning to Boondock (dry camp) with us? You don’t need to have a generator or solar, just plug straight into our rig and draw power from our solar and massive Enduro Power battery bank while you learn how much power your RV draws per day with your normal usage so you can plan what solar and/or generator you need to do your own boondocking. Plus learn from Joshua and Elizabeth tips and tricks for successful boondocking, from how to find a good spot, to how to conserve your resources, to how to dump and refill water. Maybe even try Joshua’s famous smoked brisket! To request to know when we will be in your area go to boondockbuddy.com/ and fill out our request form.

If you have not already, please subscribe to Enjoythejourney.life and follow Tom and Cheri on their journeys. They have 4 videos with us that you should check out and see why we need such a large battery bank and how we fit 7,600 watts of solar on our roof.

Starlink and Nomad Internet
Do you need reliable internet while you travel? We use a combination of options so that we will have coverage in our various boondocking locations and won’t miss any video conferences for our online businesses. Starlink www.starlink.com/ is growing and expanding as they launch more satellites (not available everywhere yet).
See our video    • STARLINK RV SECRETS! HOW TO GET UNLIM...   about Starlink with EnjoytheJourney.Life including a hack on how to get your dish NOW as well as the February 2022 update (video coming soon) on Starlink. For the places where we cannot connect our Starlink we use AT&T (deep blue) chips from Nomad Internet which can be found at nomadinternet.com/ along with our Pepwave from mobilemusthave.com/
Here is a link to our actual pepwave we use every day: mobilemusthave.com/collections/cellular-wifi-route…

I was at the top of Maine traveling when my Sterling B2B failed. I called Sterling they were of no help. I called BattleBorn, I purchased the unit from them, and they sent me a new B2B and the return label for the old all within like 5 days from their office in Reno. That’s when I realized what I was paying for with BattleBorn.

Glad y'all finally made the jump to making a YouTube Channel!! This just popped up as a suggestion and when I looked to see why someone was dumping their Battle Born Batteries, I seen it was you two!! Glad Tom was there to help you kick it off!!!

I have a 35 forest river cardinal 3350rlx with residential fridge, 3600 watts on roof, victron charge controller, 2 quattro 5000 inverters. and 2 discover aes 48 volt 7.4 kwh lithium batteries onan 240v commercial 6500 generator. we are mostly off grid for 1 to 2 weeks at a time and rarely use the gen, unless we are in 95 plus degrees. i think your rig is awesome! everyone I know thinks I am crazy , well maybe not after seeing yours. Great video looking forward to future videos.

Welcome to the Youtube family. We have enjoyed each of your interviews with Tom. So happy that you will creating content that is of great value to the RV community. Take care and stay safe. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
  • Subscribed immediately upon watching enjoy the journey. Tom and Shari are the best. Will follow you to get more knowledge. Back 20yrs ago I had to teach myself about solar. No one wanted to free up information that might help someone. I was fortunate with my power needs. We changed every light to led. Had a 12v television with built-in dvd. The only 120v we used at all was AC and microwave. We didn't have your needs, yet we still didn't use all that we generated. Many thanks.
  • @MrRMB1

Thank you for starting this you tube channel and providing your experience. The path you are taking with this channel inspires me to start my project. I am a little different as I am going to do this on my boat. Space and weight are the challenges I have also. As I calculate the energy consumption of the items I have will determine how to proceed.
  • Dude……y’all got it going on now . I remember when you and David were just starting putting some stuff in . This is pretty awesome . This s what I’ve been wanting to do . And pretty much everyone said it couldn’t be done . Now as I already knew there is a way to do it , can start . Thank you so very much for sharing .

Just watched your second video with Tom, and immediately found your channel and watched. Your ideas are super crazy and I'm sure you'll be cutting the way into more tech for the full time rv'ers! So excited for you! Currently, we're installing a very small solar system on our class A to get us started into the boon docking experience, ultimately when we go full time for good with a newer class A, we would like to tow an enclosed trailer that would carry our car and all the extras, my dream would be separate solar setups that can be paired, one on the camper and one on the trailer. Holding extra water and propane in the trailer also. Any sort of encouragement or ideas for that setup is welcome!
  • @coorsleftfield
Reason #6, you got free batteries for promoting them in a video.
  • @spyd3rsam273
Great info and good luck on your video future. You have truly accomplished over-the-top projects for your RV. I am not a full timer but love to boondock for weeks at a time in Colorado, Arizona and Utah in my Turtleback Overland Trailer. Power has always been my concern since I still have to maintain essential equipment when overlanding. I am looking to improve by battery bank (two 100A AGM) and add to my solar capability to keep the batteries charged when boondocking. Thanks again for your information and inspiration.
