I'm in my 60s so this takes me back to a simpler time in my life. My late husband and I used to dance to these songs.
  • I’m 16 and played this around my grandmother and she made me dance with her to these songs in the middle of her living room with it blaring though the whole house

As a 21-year-old lady, it will always be my dream to dance with someone while these songs play in the bright night sky while the moonlight is carving our shadows.

I’ve always felt so comfortable with the 1940s-60s everything about it just seemed so magical like the music, the fashion, the styles it’s all just amazing

My grandparents met in 60s. My grandma told me their love story many times. They met at a party in 1966. They put on slow music for the couples to dance to. My grandparents were single. My grandfather saw my grandmother alone and invited her to dance. She was very beautiful, she possessed people with her gaze. They connected so much that they finished dancing with a little kiss. "A love from a movie," said my grandmother.

Why can't music now a days be as lovely as these are. How men write love songs now are just sad, these love songs from the 60's are just lovely. They make my heart sing, they bring me so much joy as they do ofr others

Today I was doing a painting for my school art work while listening to your playlist, my grandmother came to the room and listened to the music, she said to me “that's cool that you like the songs of my time, I've danced to them a lot at parties, they are my favorites.” Your playlist is the best there is, I love it! <3
  • I can’t believe how wholesome these songs were. So much better than the “romantic” music of today.

  • 1940s-60s just makes me feel like i am a vintage/old princess. Old songs makes me feel safe☺️

I really love 1960's love songs. The vocals, the background running drum beats and guitar strums. It all fits together so well. It's genuinely upsetting modern music will never amount to this again.

  • I was born in 1986, but I love 50s to 70s songs. Because those songs were what my parents played when I was a kid, those times were the most beautiful moments of my life. And when I hear these songs, I recall those moments.
