India needs lot of Think Tanks to counter western hegemony and power assertion. We need to enable the youth to think in geo political terms and challenge the sly moves by the US and the West.
  • It’s high time our media and government gets over this mentality of pleasing everyone who raises questions about Indian Foreign Policy!! Learn to ignore such nonsense they tend to seek attention to frame narratives in favor of their country and not all such comments are meant to be given a reply
  • India is strong powerful democratic nation in the world and has independent foreign policy and stretegic autonomy. Jai. Hind Jai Bharat ❤

Strategic autonomy is a concept that the US can never master!
  • @unknownisbest
What USA always wanted was slaves. Nowadays it calls that “no strategic autonomy”. In non-diplomatic language that sounds like “Do as you are told or be ready to get punished”.

This envoy will change in Nov. so let him bark.

I thought India was going to wait for 5 years to respond...geez, MEA get your act together quickly.

It’s time for a young nation like the US, to learn from India, the true meaning and functioning of democracy! It’s a value system, it’s not a force, dictatorship, it can’t be thrust upon or coerced into!
  • @prabak7739
India is right in maintaining 'strategic autonomy' because America's past records shows it can never be trusted, and that is true for America's relationship with any countries including Afghanistan and even UK and Europe. US will ditch any alliances at an instant without notice. Say, just say hypothetically, India cuts ties with Russia - which I don't see any reason and would be a disastrous blunder - and forms alliance with US, imagine what will happen to India when US ditches India, just like they did to Afghanistan? India will be left without a leverage against China in the absence of Russia. So there is such thing as 'strategies autonomy', more so, when it comes to dealings with US.

If 2 friends agree on everything, one isn't necessary.
  • Sometimes diplomacy needs to use the same tools as counterpart uses to make them understand the message...
  • it was not a comment, it was a veiled threat. And after the comment the violent riots in Bangladesh, God gave you guys a brain, use it!!!
