Wow. Just WOW! After a sedentary year recovering from long Covid, I (at 79 years old) ended up with severe balance/equilibrium problems. I walked like a drunk, always with a feeling I was about to fall. Last week I began this program. The routine takes me about a half hour after breakfast each morning. After only one week I've had an extraordinary improvement. I think I'll be dedicating a half-hour each day to this exercise for the rest of my life. Thank you, Doug.
  • Thank you! I am 80 years old and find I am falling more. Last fall was an injury to my knee that took a long time to heal. I need this so much. I am very grateful to you for providing this information. Bless you.

I’m 70 and trying to stand up to put on jeans is a comedy of errors. My balance is shot. But after spending a couple of days at the countertop, I’ve noticed a marked improvement! God bless you and thank you! 🙏
  • What great advice especially for the older generation. Thank you and I will certainly be doing these.

Thanks so much for this video. Clear, concise and to the point. I'm having a tough time with balance and walking after a lengthy period in a recliner with long Covid. This is just what my 79-year-old carcass needs.
  • Thanks. I’m 75 yrs old and in fairly good health but I’ve noticed in the last year my balance seems a little off. I’ve come close to falling more than once. I tried these exercises and some were easier than others. I will keep doing them to improve my balance.
  • Thankyou for this video. It is exactly what I need. I have spinal stenosis in lumbar spine. 3 discs are wrecked. Also arthritis spurs. Rheumatologist says exercise cannot correct problem but as GP says, it will improve my position.
  • This is the best comprehensive, realistic program I have seen. Thanks for encouraging me to get back to doing what I know works.

Love this challenge just what I need, just when I needed it! I feel confident I can do this within a couple months. It will give me confidence and build my proprioception! YES!!! Thanks for all the detail.
  • I’m 79 and did these before for balance. Need to-do them again. Going to try. Thanks
  • Thank You for for sharing these PT exercises. I had to take PT for 7 weeks and did really good but due to some health issues became weak again and I felt the need to do something to help improve my balance and walking on mu own. I was so glad your YouTube channel came up on my tablet cause these were the exact exercises my Therapist was having me do before. So I'm definitely going to follow your instructions. Bye from Ohio🌹

  • I do squats on a Bossa ball, curved side down. Standing on the centre of the flat side. I hold a 5 pound weight in each hand and work my arms at the same time. I am 73 years old. I have been doing this exercise for at least 10 years. It’s great for balance.
  • Thank you Doug, I followed with all my heart and feel better.❤
