Insanely high-level boxing, skill and athleticism. These guys are both true specimens.
  • Haney didn't think he was gonna get the nod. He was more than shocked to hear his name
  • Who is here after Ryan exposed Haney. I still don't think haney is a bad fighter. But Ryan showed levels tonight, amazing performance from an underdog

To me, Vasiliy Lomachenko represents progress. Even in his 4th decade he is in top physical shape. Intelligent, technical, tactical, fast, and impressive to watch. Nothing against Devin Haney but my heart is with Vasiliy.
  • Vasiliy is a wise man in not answering those questions in the heat of the moment that he might say something that he would regret saying it. A great fighter as well.
  • Wow I haven’t seen a fight this invigorating in such a long time! What an amazing display of technical prowess on both Loma and Haney’s sides.
  • Ese Lomachenko es especial. Miren esa diferencia de edad y tamaño. Loma puso al gigante a retroceder. Yo creo que se la robaron. La cara de Haney en la esquina al final de cada round es un poema.

1:07:33 you can literally hear someone read the scorecard in the background before they announced it

For the fans, it doesn’t even matter who wins. I find myself rewatching this fight and learning something new about the science of boxing from both parties every single time.

💯 i thought loma won after the first watch... I’ve watched it over 6x because it was so bang bang I saw something new everytime… Crazy how the commentary can influence your view on a fight, but also speaks too how good of a fight this actually was in real time.. This will go down as a technical chess match that people will look back on and give it’s just due.. in due time.. this was boxing in its purest form. i had Haney 7-5, after MANY re watches… but I would have been okay with a tie honestly based off the way it looked on face value. People will discredit this victory but i think this loma was rested, motivated ( being able too grab all the belts at once) and well seasoned. This fight will help haney in the future because of the adversity he faced.
  • If Haney would’ve landed the same type of leather as Loma and had him stumbling the same way, Dave Moretti would’ve scored rnd 10 as a 10-8 round and all the judges would’ve scored it 120-107.

If Loma would throw punches the same way he moves his feet..he be unstoppable
  • It’s sad how bad the crowd and the commentators wanted Haney to lose this fight. It’s obvious Haney won.

Thank you for including the the walkouts and lead-up to the opening bell!

i thought it was at least a draw . haney was very good with his body shots but i think keeping him undefeated was the most important factor in the decision . its all about the business side!
  • Round 2 was the best description for this fight, Devin keeps going to lomas body but the minute loma throws a flurry where only 1 or 2 punches landed the crowd and the commentator acts like he landed all the shots while also still being counter by Haney LOL

This was a certified instant classic. It’s just too bad people let their emotions to a close fight overshadow just how amazing the fight actually was. That being said, after watching the fight back I believe Devin won fair and square. Once you analyze the fight and score it round by round, ignore the crowd noise, credit the body work, and the fact that most of the flurries Loma threw were blocked… Dev got it. However it was still a close fight. Credit to both men for putting on sharp performances

Yes I see this 9 rounds to 3 for Haney. Body shots, cutting off the ring, slipping punches. Loma had a few times of flurries, but none landed, but in the 10th and 11th. This was a clear Haney unanimous decision.
