Prof Bart Kay - WOW - now THIS guy gets it and doesn't dish out BS - that deserves respect, I am impressed. No health issues due to diet and I have not eaten fruit or veg since I was 13, now 57, recently cut ALL wholegrains from my diet.

Working at a health food store (Meat dept.), the consensus I take away from the majority of Vegans I've encountered is that it is more of an animal treatment/rights issue to them than a dietary health issue. The perplexing thing to me is that in the wild, animal predators are incredibly brutal and merciless to their prey.
  • I was vegan for about 7 years. I lost 120lbs, but traded the weight for anxiety, severe food allergies, and MS. I did an AIP elimination diet, and through that, ended up eating a lot of meat again. I'm hoping it's not too late to get some of my health back.
  • Growing up in the 50’s and 60’s, my mother frequently said “Eat your meat!” as we all sat at the dinner table. Not once did she say Eat your vegetables, even though we had plenty of fruit and veggies from her large gardens.
  • I’m a new Bart Kay fan; I’ve watched 2 interviews with him on other carnivore channels in the last 2 days, including “No Carb Life.” I am SO impressed with Bart and his knack for explaining our biochemistry, digestion, and physiology, which I find interesting on its own. Bart makes it fascinating! Thank you for having him on your channel, Dr. Berry! 🙏

my new Dr surprised me with an astounding agreement with this new "Keto" world. His personal experience has woke him up. WOW!. Now we can talk.
  • Dr. Berry, you hit the nail on the head. Vegan diet is the diet people gravitate to when trying to be healthier until they find out it makes them ill and then the real diet research happens. That was exactly my story. Now, the low carb veggies are used like a condiment to my high fat Keto-Carnivore diet.

Thank you both. I'm 76 and much healthier than when I was a vegan. Dr Berry, you were the first person I found that led me to a keto/carnivore life style and I try to learn something everyday. Thank you both again.

Bart with the relaxed posture and expression that only those who fear no other intellect in their field, have.
  • I have been carnivore for nearly two years and have had labs done twice, one a year. Both were good and this recent one just a few weeks ago was damn near perfect line straight down. With the exception of urea nitrogen but that was only one point over normal. My lipid panel was normal as well and feeling as good as I do, I will never be vegan or go back to the SAD! Thank you both for sharing your knowledge!
  • Thirteen years ago, a hair analysis done by a holistic practitioner revealed many things. One was that I was low on both potassium AND salt. She said, "You must get your potassium AND salt up, or your glucose levels will edge up within the next few years. Your ratio is currently 1:1. Shoot for 3K to 1Na." The woman was amazing. She turned out to be SO right.

I also was vegan for around 2 years, from 2017 to little over 2019. When I was a teen I had anorexia but my relationship with food was at it's worst when I was a vegan 20 y old, to say the least. The sugar cravings were so bad I had started binge eating for the first time in my life. The brain fog so bad I struggled with simple things, so I took a blood test.. Turned out I had b12 and iron deficiencies despite taking a vegan targeted multivitamin that was supposed to be enough according to the bottle. I felt so betrayed by the people that were advertising how taking vitamins would be enough and how you don't need animal products.. It became clear to me that if I want to live I have to eat animal products, which was devastating to me. Genuinely thought about the other option of "un-living" too, that's how brainwashed by veganism I was, I believed animals deserved to exist more than I did. Morally I still don't enjoy it but it's a choice I make to keep living.
  • I am no longer insulin resitance, according to my blood results, because I have followed this advice. Thank you. I am now trying to educate my family and friends.
  • I actually got my GP on board with my carnivore diet (I'm fighting cancer) and he has put his ailing wife on it as well. Next up: the conversion of my (young) specialist who has taken a wait-and-see outlook since thus far, I have not deteriorated. If only I could get my vegan hubby and my sceptical relatives on board as well, or at least stop trying to force me to "at least take suppliments for god's sake!". Great video.

Hey, I’m a truck mechanic and I understood everything 🤷🏼‍♂️😂
  • Coming from a background of being somewhat meat-phobic and even more so fat-phobic, my eyes have been widening to widths I never knew they could reach. I'm grateful to have access to this information!!
  • With ketovore/omad fasting in just 2 months i went from size 18/20 down to size 12/14. I am happy that i don't have to take those poison meds anymore, that i took them since 2006. Thank you dr. Berry for saving my life from diabities, high blood preasure and thyroid problems that i use to suffer from. Thank you Nesha for all your recipes. God bless your family😀👌💚💙💜❤🧡💛
  • My chronic PMS tension headaches and pre-menstrual bloating went completely away when I added meat back into my diet after 13 years being lacto veg. So I for one can attest to meat being anti-inflammatory.
  • I’ve been vegetarian not vegan for 18yrs. & suffering rosacea & other conditions & gained weight. A friend of mine used to be vegan for 2drcades & stared to have health issues, she introduced to keto, now full time ketovore, loosing weight & health issues improve tremendously. I now eat meat 80% & on the road to getting better.
