It makes sense that Peri was ACTUALLY traumatized by Vicky. Like, imagine that one day you end up finding out that your sleep paralysis demon was REAL this whole time.

I like that Peri has a more explored personality outside of being a cute, giggly baby. He’s kind, intelligent, comical, sarcastic, charismatic, and brotherly. And it’s cool that his wand is similar to his magic rattle.

Peri single handedly saved this show from the harsh and kind of uncalled for criticism it was receiving before it even came out. I can understand being skeptical after the disaster that was Fairly Odder, but seeing so many people write A New Wish off as bad without giving it a proper chance just feels like bad faith.

I feel like Dev REALLY needed Peri in his life. It could have been his dad or brother figure, but Dev was so caught up in wanting to impress someone who will never care for him, he lost something better. Makes me sad. Peri really cared for Dev and despite Dev hating him, Peri always “loved” him no matter.

I really hope Dev gets a second chance with Peri. He deserves a Fairy, and I wanna see their dynamic grow with each other.
