146 attempts later, I finally beat this guy. Had no clue the fight would be this hard for me. When you fight this guy in the main game, he's one of the easier warrior fights because you have a floor, and usually the attack where he spins his lotus shield around gives you time to heal if you've been hit. But not getting hit at all proved to be extremely challenging. Even so, I still was a little too reckless near the end and my charm saved me. I didn't know he was only 2 great slashes away from dying or I wouldn't have tried it. Super glad to be done with him though.
