Its not just hypergamy its the fact that shes been with so many guys before him that she cannot pair bond, and at any low point in the relationships she will compare her current partners faults to every other guy shes been with that doesn't have those faults.

Women have to learn how to turn this off. That takes character. There’s a shortage of that today.

My wife's friend left her husband for that reason. Found someone who told her how beautiful she was. I guess her husband wasn't the romantic type. Now that Casanova has gotten his fill, he's moved on. And the woman's ex moved on, too. She actually thought her ex would take her back.

And having the false sense of access to these “high quality” men through social media makes them miserable because they think they could do better when in reality they can’t

I went through 3 women like this before I found my wife. When they start talking like they can do better, it’s time to set them free and invite them to go do better. All 3 of those girls talked about how great a man I was but still voiced reservations and wanted to keep their options open. I didn’t hesitate to let them explore their options as soon as it came up by stepping aside…for good. Two of them showed up and tried to hook back up when they found out I was engaged. Thank goodness I had no problem resisting any temptation.
