This rendering is precisely Arrowhead stadium with a glass roof.

Natural grass should be a MUST in ALL NFL stadiums.

There may be nothing behind it, but on the other side of the highway in front is the Kansas Speedway, the Legends shopping district, a soccer stadium, etc.

US Bank and Mercedes were so unique and I find it surprising how quickly the pendulum has swung to boring and safe.

The people of Wyandotte County will suffer from this. Wyandotte County does not have a lot of money to support this project. This is very sad and disgusting. Leave the damn stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, where it belongs.

These stadiums have no character, good god this is upsetting.
  • @ian4040
I like how they've incorporated the design of Arrowhead into this concept.
  • "Chiefs" on the exterior will be replaced by the company that wins the sponsorship rights to the stadium like most others. "Chiefs" is just a placeholder / default name.

Call me old school but I love the current stadium. It's got so much history!

Bears contributing 2 billion to a stadium that the a city of Chicago would own - weird. It will cost 4 billion but someone says it’s really going to be like 7 billion. It’s crazy because they bought land in a suburb with plenty of space and much cheaper to build.

Here's the real unique thing about it - the best team in the league plays there. I'm all for a new stadium, but let everyone else have all the glitz and glam. The Chiefs exist to win football games. A nice stadium with modern amenities is a good thing, but it doesn't really matter all that much. What matters is the team that's on the field, how they perform, and what they represent to the city.

Might as well go to Kansas two-thirds the stadium is filled with people from KS every Sunday anyway. Can you imagine a dome how loud wow! Go job Lucas! ***

I swear, these new stadium designs are equivalent to the cookie-cutter stadiums of the 1970’s. Basically the same lame blueprint. They all SUCK!
  • I still dont understand why they dont just ACTUALLY DEVELOP the area around arrowhead in the first place. If this rendering were to be accurate to the future plans, why move? Why not just sit where u r at and renew the lease instead if getting an entirely new one. Itd be cheaper, you wont be sacrificing the iconic arrowhead, and you get a TitleTown sort of feel in GB.
  • @charlemagne9935
The future is going to be all in closed stadiums and no weather contacted games anymore
  • @Hauler24
I like the dome! They need to dome cold weather stadiums so it's a 12 month use place. Could be great for NCAA march madness and or Bowl Games. MetLife needs a dome ASAP!
  • I get the frozen mustache and extreme cold of last season on display but what's with the NFL's rush to put all these teams into domes? Isn't football best played outside?

The new Kansas City Chiefs stadium looks incredible. I would like the grass to be natural and use ultraviolet light to make the grass grow.
