R.I.P Bernard Hill, thank you for playing such a huge part in my childhood as King Théoden
  • No matter how many time's I watch lord of the rings, Theoden's speeches never fail to give me goosebumps. Some of the best writing in history.

The fleet scene in Rise of Skywalker feels so lifeless and cheap.

“Ride for ruin, for wrath, and the world ending! DEAAAATHHH!” Outrageous scenes. Best movies ever made.
  • Lord of the Rings is something else,it’s a shame a lot of people don’t know about it or won’t give it a chance but their loss
  • The Ride of Rohirrim will always give me gooseflesh. Thousands of horseman charging to their death, screaming death as their last battlecry.... "Ride now.... Ride to ruin, and the world's ending.... Death!" Magnificent. I cry every time.
  • Rest in peace Bernard Hill and thank you for your wonderful performances!

Lord of the Rings is in the league of it's own.
  • There is only one bad thing about "The Charge of the Rohirrim", and it's that you can only watch it once for the first time.
  • God like... all of Theodens speeches are just S tier. That "Yes... yes. the horn of Helm Hammerhand shall sound in the deep.. one last time!" followed by the rest of the speech is just magnificent to me

The charge and Theoden's speech will never not bring a tear to my eyes, everything about it is absolutely perfect and the fact that everyone of them isn't riding for glory or even victory but to to look into the face of death itself and charge right at it with nothing but triumphant force, it's incredable.

I found this video today, the day Bernard Hill died, and seeing and hearing him as Theoden brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for this!
  • @Starman594
You can see why it was so important for Sauron to keep the king weak. His courage grows each day after he was reawakened.
  • @mrastleysghost
The sound of the usb disconnecting as Jon Snow struggles to escape the pile of bodies never fails to bring a tear to my eye
  • No matter how many times you watch it, the Ride of The Rohirrim still stirs your heart and makes you stick your chest out a little farther...

Endgame has its flaws, but Steve Rodgers standing alone, tired and injured, against an army led by Thanos is such a perfect representation of what makes him a hero
  • @NinetyOneTil
The Lotr series is such a classic. No idea why they don't make more high-fantasy movies like that. Don't they know we're burned out on superhero movies T_T
  • @kirtpurdy3796
"Death!...Death!...DEATH!!!" I've seen that moment hundreds of times, and I still get a rush. Watching beloved characters choosing to face their inevitable destruction with such determination is timeless.
  • @Ghostly52
The amount of hype within the theater during that endgame scene will forever make that scene so fun and exciting to watch never have i experienced something like that. That scene and will that memory gives me chills everytime

Rest in peace, Bernard Hill. Gave some of the greatest speeches in cinematic history. Always got your blood pumping.
