Patrick Wilson... ""Ghost, for me, is one of the most unique rock bands out there. Tobias’ sense of melody is only matched by his storytelling.... Singing on it, alongside Tobias, was an absolute thrill. I wanted the tune to feel like it was Josh Lambert (my character) singing...and then being tempted by the devil (the lipstick demon)...in this case, sung by the brilliant Tobias Forge. Tobias’ tone is a sharp contrast to mine, and his new arrangement of the song is faithful yet fresh. It was an honor to be featured on the tune "
  • We absolutely need an official video for this with Papa and Patrick Wilson

My best friend passed away 6 days ago after a short battle with cancer, I took her to the Ghost show in Dallas on September 5th and she had the time of her life. This song was played at her funeral today. Thank you for being important to us and letting us share one good last moment.

When Tobias's voice kick in, it gives me shivers. The combo of Patrick and Tobias's vocal feels like calls from angel and demon.
  • Patrick Wilson providing impressive vocals for a Ghost song is like someone randomly delivering a dozen donuts straight to your house. You’re a little confused why it’s there, but its presence still makes you happy.

All of Ghost’s songs get to me in some way but this one has had me cry singing in my car for months. This song will be at my wedding funeral and every big moment. It’s been on repeat for months. I can’t get enough
  • I worked at a cinemark when insidious the red door came out, and I always ran to be the one to clean the auditoriums when this song came on lol
  • I haven't heard Patrick sing since he was Viscount Raoul de Chagny in Phantom of the Opera. Was a nice surprise to hear him sing again. Plus any song from Ghost is a gem.

Everything Tobias touches turns to gold, my goodness what a beautiful song. And Patrick Wilson, what a revelation this guy, I knew he was a great actor but now he directs the movie and sings on the soundtrack? Stunning, may Ghost live forever and ever.

    1. I had no idea Patrick Wilson could sing, much less sing like THIS 2. His voice is uncannily similar to Tobias - I thought it was all TF until the final chorus 3. Btw, FANTASTIC choice of cover! Such a beautiful, emotional, creepy song…fits Ghost like a glove

This tune was a fine, fine ending song to the movie. Patrick Wilson slayed as Director too. Bravo! 🖤

When I heard this in theatres I was surprised to hear Ghost in a movie like this. I’m happy that the band is getting more recognition like this
  • Patrick's voice is so soft and smooth and then you get a literal punch of hard guitar and Tobias's strong vocals. Love it!
  • @Yoramaesen.
There's no way this song is already 1 year "old" today?!
  • @chaoos_
they sound so good together I'm literally rolling on the floor
  • @r6ses
it’s a crime this doesn’t go on for longer 😩 patrick and tobias’ vocals are so good
  • Great Ghost and Patrick Wilson music to get the writing fingers catching fire to wrap up my latest novel 'For the Love of a Phantom'. Listening to 'Stay' while walking out into remote Appalachian Mountains...well not recommended for the faint of heart. But well worth it to write wrote the haunting melody, lyrics, and then the 350-page novel weirdly enough. Brothers and Sisters of the Flame I am forever thankful for the Devilish inspiration. --JL
