Several years have passed since Dr. Wily’s last attempt at world domination ended in failure, thanks to the efforts of Megaman. Following the evil scientist’s subsequent disappearance, the Light family has enjoyed a time of peace, believing the days of fighting to be behind them.
However, unbeknownst to them, the mad doctor has been secretly plotting something far more sinister than any scheme he’s devised before. A plan that could herald in a new era of fear and chaos upon the world, but will this harbinger prove to be the doctor’s own downfall?
Taking on the mantle of the Blue Bomber once more, Rock must find a way to stop this dark threat to the world and family he loves. With the future hanging in the balance, can our hero prevail…and at what cost?

Hi everyone! This is my take on possible events that could occur between the Megaman classic series and X series. It's not canon and I know it doesn't line up with what the games actually hint at, but I still think it's a fun idea :)
The Megaman characters and franchise belong respectfully to Capcom.

Q: Is this going to be a full blown series?
A: No. This is purely a trailer style animation :)
Q: How long did this take to make?
A: Almost 7 months.
Q: Why are the robots bleeding!? They are ROBOTS!
A: It''s not blood. I imagine that these high tech robots probably have oils and coolants coursing through their bodies to regulate their systems.

Hello everyone :) I'm very happy to see you all enjoying this animation I made. I did put allot of time, thought, and effort into it and I'm pleased to see it being appreciated. I've been overwhelmed by the amount of people asking for a full blown series or saying that they will fund a full blown project. As flattered as I am by this, please know that it was never my intention to make this any more than what it is. I'm very much in the early early stages of learning this fine art of animation. It's purely a hobby I play with in my spare time :) I have no desire to earn any funding. I simply wish to share whatever small projects I may make in the future. What’s crazy is how the whole Zero thing is straight from the X games. It’s just a blender of feelings as to how a happy simple little series that never took itself so seriously could go to complete hell to become something new. I guess they took a reboot just a bit too literally...

I like the moment when Bass sees Zero kill Wily, with the X standard Warning which later becomes a staple in the series. It shows that Zero is a whole new threat with no real known way of stopping it.

You can tell so much about the tension in the characters. Bass is so surprised and distressed by the loss of Wily, Light feels lost and helpless, and Blues wants to help but doesn’t know how
