I'm so obsessed with that place.. so peaceful. just imagine living a quiet life, and you wake up seeing the calm view of the ocean everyday..

My god I miss Faroe so much. MonaSolo thank you so much for sharing this video and bringing us back to Gásadalur, and for making your wonderful and inspiring blog! We are counting the days until we can sail back to Vestmanna, Miðvágur, Tórshavn, Nólsoy and to new ports in Faroe that we have not seen yet in the Spring!

Hi neighbour I thought where i lived was beautiful (im a shetlander) but faroe is like shetland on steroids 😁 in the south of shetland its flat & good for farming vegtables just like orkney but in the north it starts to become rocky & almost mountainous kind of like faroe but north is no use for farming only sheep & ponys but beautiful.There are also alot of abandon whaling villages (fetherland) from the time they belonged to denmark.I see in the summer they do a limited number of flights between the islands & I need to visit.Thankyou & your father for sharing the vidio i loved it.

A WONDERFUL - Fairy Tale Country and Places! I did start to go around the World by Air and by Water/Sea from my 3 years of age only, cause my dad was a Seaman 30+ years long, and my mom did take me with her on ship(s) worldwide to be with him. I did learn school on ship... so I seen many places (as a Seaman too)... but Føroyar is unique! Zeppelin (Drone) wanna do "First Take Off" in Føroyar (Faroes – Faroe Islands)!
