I spend one whole day making freezer meals for my family once a month. I make 1 extra batch of each meal and post it on a local Facebook group for people looking for a break and a homemade meal! The most rewarding feeling ever is to share my cooking. I take along my 4 year old son and his face just lights up when we pass them out!.

I love how your channel is always like “just feed your family!” It doesn’t have to be complicated or fancy, just homemade

“ about 400° for… I don’t know until your house smells like bacon” Love it, my kind of cooking! 🥓😍

There is only three people in my household right now and I never thought about freezer meals. However I am rethinking this idea. I have a chronic pain problem and have a hard time even getting through the week most times, so instead of having my husband run to town for fast food I think this would work. Thank you for being such an inspiration

I think one of the most amazing things about you is that you're frugal not only to benefit the lives of your family but for other families as well. I love freezer meal prep videos but knowing that you're donating some of the meals to people who need it makes it that much more special. <3
  • Christine puts out a new video, and I stop what I'm doing and watch. Favorite Youtuber. She's fun, informative and relatable. Also, clearly she has great taste in t-shirts

Love that you donated the meals! You’re an amazing person, love the videos 😀.
  • Christine: What do you say we make 30 freezer meals today? Me: runs to get snacks- Ummm yes!! Let’s do it! And by let’s... I mean Christine does all the work and I watch and eat snacks 😂

Although these are good suggestions for meal prepping, they also use a LOT of aluminium and plastic. Maybe, if one does that kind of meal prepping very often, investing in a set of reusable containers might be advised to reduce the waste? I think they make similar sizes in (oven- and freezer-proof) glass? Admittedly, they are easier to give away in these bags/containers to people in need. Just a suggestion for those who think about using the program on the regular for their own family...

I did our freezer meal prep for February on the weekend. I made: chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, pork and beans, meatball pasta bakes, pizza sauce, and breakfast casserole (four of each), and a stack of waffles. You've inspired me so much. I bought an instant pot, and I love it. I no longer roast our Sunday lunch, it goes in the instant pot and I add the vegetables for 20 mins at the end. My monthly food shop cost £80 this month

"So much better than using a spatula...like a PEASANT!" 🤣🤣🤣
  • Instead of doing a day of prep for a bunch of freezer meals, I’ve gotten into the habit of making a 2nd freezer meal along side with dinner. Example if I’m making pulled pork tonight for dinner I’ll make a second one but as a freezer meal, for later. There is 4 of us in my family and my boys are still young and don’t eat a whole portion. Plus my love hates leftovers. So often I can take a single recipe and cut it in half. One for now and one for later.

Back in the day before Covid, My church has a huge kitchen and we would have days where we all came and prepped together and made a bunch meals to give out like this. So fun and such a great way to serve your community.
  • I loved hearing that you donated to people struggling. That warmed my heart.
  • @lifeofaimee6259
Love how you are sharing these with those who will so appreciate them....
  • @Dedaskitchen
Love that you donated so many of these meals! It's only my husband and myself right now, so I don't see myself making all these, but then again, it would be great to have some on hand just to give to those who are sick/new moms/grieving families. I love taking meals to people. They all look really good. Thank you, great video!

Right before the corn came out I was yelling ...noooooo you didn't seal it!!! Too funny....thanks for the laugh. And definitely dill pickles.

These videos are so calming to watch. Christine you've saved me from countless panic attacks and anxiety episodes. Watching you cook, shop and do everyday errands is relaxing. You're a real inspiration. Thank you for always sharing! ❤

That home cook moment when she discovers the egg shell, old memories of finding the walnut shell in your bite of the cake/cookie, etc.
