Dual 3M Left Turn Lights In Escondido (Grand Ave & Valley Blvd)

Published 2024-07-15
About a year after I did this video, the dual 3M left turn lights are gone and now have new standard McCain left arrow lights on a new pole and mast arm.

Very rare to find dual 3M left turn lights anywhere, but Escondido has a lot of them in some places and I've got some other videos of them too that you'll see later this summer. Also this is a great LED / Incandescent comparison and you see both are very visible and easy to see, but the color looks slightly different in the red lights. The 3M on top has all incandescent bulbs and the 3M on the lower left has LED bulbs in the red and yellow and the green is incandescent. Honestly I prefer incandescent bulbs in 3M signal lights because that's the original bulb that belongs in there and I love it when they dim at night. As I mentioned at the top, these awesome 3M left turn lights are gone.

Here are my videos of more old traffic lights at this intersection.
