  • “If I’d known she was religious than I wouldn’t have came stoned, to the house of such an angel, too fucked up to get back home”. Too real for today’s country music
  • That Tyler Childers be hitting different when your a couple beers in.
  • I would pay $100 to see Tyler Childers walk into a venue, lean into the mic and holler "thicket."

This is the first time I've heard this guy sing. Never had even heard of him before. This discovery was better than my actual Christmas

Sometimes I wonder if my cat realizes how extremely lucky he is to live in a home that listens to Tyler Childers every single day of his life 😊. He could have ended up in a Florida Georgia Line's fans house.
  • I am an immigrant from Nepal. Very much into 90's American thrash metal. But a while ago a friend of mine from Minnesota introduced me to Tyler Childers. This shit is just awesome. I can play this on loop a 1000 times and never get tired. One more thing to love about America.

I thought I didn't like country music. Turns out I just haven't been listening to the correct country music. Edit: People keep liking and responding to this a year later, so today I had a thought related to a response someone left. If there’s a genre of music you think you don’t like, take just a couple minutes to look for uncommon examples and sources of that genre. You might find your next favorite song. If you still don’t like it, then more power to you.
  • ATTENTION record executives, this is how i want my music to sound. This mans voice is amazing, you don't have to do anything just let him sing.
  • My little brother took his own life in July, He loves and cherished this song not because of a woman..he relates it to his addiction. It’s wild how such a beautiful song can be interpreted so many ways. I love you Matt mays you will forever live on

To Tyler Childers. Today we buried Riley Boatright in Oklahoma. He was killed playing football for Lexington Jr. High last Tuesday. His girlfriend lived in Purcell Oklahoma just across the river. This song was his favorite song the day he died. Thank you for giving him a dream he will never see.

That lap steel player is absolutely demolishing this track. Awesome performance

My son turned me onto Tyler Childers with his songs and he just passed, but his memory will live on for me through these songs. Thank you for so much for this bond I could have with my son before his passing, Tyler Childers. It reminds me of him and I can listen to this song and feel him with me. Thank you so much.
  • Sometimes I get mad when I find music that I love years later I could have been enjoying this for so long

This song literally filled me with such longing that I reached out to someone whom I had turned down out of fear, and I asked him out and now we’re 5 dates in 😊
