PvZ GW3 Ideas! | Part Two: The Backyard

Published 2024-01-11
Welcome to the second video of this series where I discuss everything about what I'd want for a Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 3! If you like PvZ GW1, PvZ GW2, or PvZ BFN, this is the right video for you! Thanks for watching, and don't forget to subscribe!

If you have any ideas for your own PvZ GW3, please let me know!

All music in this video was done by Peter McConnell, but all on-screen illustrations were done by me, including the thumbnail. The picture of Iceberg Lettuce I used partway in is a thumbnail by ‪@GermanShu‬

  • 3:17 RIP Electric Slide Also, I really want to thank you all for so much support on the last video! I mean, 10k views is A LOT more than what I was aiming for, so you all absolutely crushed my expectations. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this next instalment of the series!
  • No matter what anyone may try to do, you simply cannot live up to the GW2 backyard. It’s timeless.

Getting us hyped for a game that doesn't exist is tight❤

Some modes for multiplayer or backyard: Jagernaut mode:10 players vs 1 super buffed character or boss, the mode will aslo be similiar to the mix mode where modes switches every match. Showdown: 1v1 mode where you have 2 options, first is the game will find you an opponent and you will fight 3-5 rounds for a reward like coins, second one is to invite your friend or someone in your group to the match to battle him. Gnome war: 20 players (10 plants and 10 zombies) vs 10-20 gnomes (also players) to win you must either kill all gnomes or survive for 5 minutes capture flag: well one of most iconic modes in shooter games which not added to pvz still (i hope i don't need to explore rules) death run: 20 players (characters doesn't matter, you can be either zombie or plants or even gnomes) run to the end of the map whiel traps and moving wall is trying to kill you. in the backyard you can enable friendly mode, if it's activated non of oposite team members can attack you, you can even go to oposite team base! But you can't turn off friendly mode if you are close or in the enemy team. also wanted to add in a backyard a competition mode where two players will fight in different modes they prefer, in shoot the target players have to test their aim and shoot the pop up targets and the player who will get most points will get some kind of rewards, parkour (i think i also don't must explain this), kill enemy kill the specific enemy faster then your opponent to win.

Dude please keep making these videos, they are actually so cool

Okay, so this is mostly perfect, but I would like to add some things. (Also everything I commented last episode i still want) First off, the backyard will be online, but weeds/zombies will naturally spawn and you can spawn some yourself. If you choose to play with private only, there will be dandelions and tv heads replacing the characters. There will be no gnomes as they are hard to get and can get a little op. (Ai play will become private play for simplicity). Secondly, add a plants and zombies vs the gnomes gamemode where the gnomes could have a boss and you have to fight with the zombies. It will be a lot like that one gamemode where you have to kill everyone and survive to win. Thirdly, add private play back, but remove solo play, as you can just do invite only to play with no one. You will be able to choose the teams and the variants, and the characters will be randomly replaced when someone joins. The bots will have random cosmetics. Fourthly, add objectives back, but make them all possible if you aren’t playing with anyone. (I’m talking about you, get a triple vanquish streak 3 times) Finally, add gamemodes such as ‘pots vs bots,’ you would be either a potted plant or a bot, ‘weeds vs browncoats,’ you would play either a brown coat or weed, ‘boss hunt’, you would be able to hunt any boss you want, ‘boss rush’, you and other people get to be any boss without any limitations (yes, this includes boss mode), and finally ‘plants vs Zomboss’, a garden ops map where at the 10th wave you fight Zomboss, which has been in the code many times in gw1 and 2. Yeah, the ideas you had were amazing! I think the renting from npcs and custom sticker packs were really cool!

So i watched those two parts and i can say that your video editing is great and I love most of the ideas in these. And for a Backyard item, i think a taco stand for the plant side might be a good idea to put, increasing the chances for fire plant variants, another thing that could be good for the zombie side would be a Ice Z stand, basically an Ice tea stand but brain flavored that would increase Zombie Ice variants, also a cool little cosmetic feature with those two would be watching your plant or zombie eat or drink it. it wouldn't do anything but it would be nice to see animation of those.

i hope to god that pop cap watches these videos and decides to make gw3 they would make so much money if it was done how the fans wanted it
  • @madflam3192
There should be a special backyard that is unlocked after reaching a certain level that is the same but you get extra coin and xp and other things like more chalenging or less safezone or the ennemy can go into the base this would be a good idea to avoid the backyard to become max rank hell
  • @Dwayne_LaFontant
Can you imagine the hype If Garden warfare Was announced with some of these features? I would genuinely love to see what this would look like if it were to be implemented.
  • @drduskbunny
The gnome faction idea is something I’ve always wanted for a pvz shooter
  • This was an amazing video, but for 10:10 i have some ideas idea 8 i would like the gnomes to take over suburbia i think it would be cool seeing some maps gnomefied Idea 9 a mode where we play as plants and zombies working together against the gnomes would be really interesting I hope you liked these ideas and have a great day
  • Gw3 ideas : return of sticker packs :New variants : new type of party characters and return of infinity time : No sprinting only movement speed increase : gnomes as playable class this time around : different punching mechanics for super brainz and restore his laser to its former glory : new bosses for garden and graveyard ops boss rush mode : party gnomes just like you can unlock them for plants and zombies , should be able to have party characters for every plant and zombie , party chomper, party cactus , party pea and so on : day and night cycles return for maps : new legendary characters Gw2 style character select screen not the atrocious style they had in battle for neighborville that looked a overwatch rip off : super bean playable so the plants have a super type of class like the super brainz or a super plant of some kind : A 4th ability instead of just 3 : smooth animations : new threat that isn’t the gnomes as they are now playable
  • Love this series! When you eventually start making new ideas on the multiplayer modes aspect of GW3 i think you should make a separate part talking about how they can improve garden and graveyard ops, like adding the endless ops back from gw1.
  • @genius_squirrel
In GW2 there is keys to collect. But you couldn't see them after you collected them. I have an idea to ad a inventory. I also think that randomly an special npc would spawn and when vanquished would give you items. I don't know what they would give but I think that a inventory would be good to display the items. I also love your ideas about the hub.
  • @CoralReaper707
0:55 the so called "casual" philosophy of giddy park falls flat on its face when you consider all of those braniums... (Shudder) Hopefully bosses and other ai will spawn when in a private backyard
  • @dreamyboris9128
Boss idea's:there should be a peashooter king boss (similiar to sunflower queen.) Chomper zombie mech:a boss that looks exactly like the chomper but its more dangerous than the original chomper! Minigames:there should be a minigame that you have to use the cannons to shoot at the other base and destory it. Winner gets 5000 coins! New gamemode:each side gets their own mech's and can ride the mech or not! Their goal is to destroy all the flags! If you finish all the quests in the backyard, you'll be rewarded with: a new character, more acces to the backyard and being able to play ops with multiplayer! (What i mean by that it means that instead of A.I zombies/plants,there is actuall people! And they have to choose their character) Creativity mode:players will be able to make their own maps! The player has limitless options. (Just like minecraft) (I love giving ideas to your video's! Ive always wanted to share my GW3 ideas!)
