We need mini grids on a local level rather than expanding central electricity production.

The country needs to subsidise nuclear power for AB & SK.

for the love of G_d, get an engineer on to explain that regardless of policy, this will take a LOT longer and cost far more than the policy wonks are admitting. This dropped the energy IQ of anyone who listened

Why is someone who has said "maybe this isn't manmade" and "maybe this isn't as bad as it seem" (around 3:38) providing commentary on green energy or climate change? Nice to have a convert but you lacked good judgement on something that is so obvious.

Need double the electricity, so double the hydro electric dam reservoir area. I wonder whose land will be under a lake this time? It's remarkable how much suffering must be inflicted on people alive today, to potentially impact the lives of people who don't yet exist.

More Canadian navel gazing and virtue signalling? I am almost half way in and not hearing anything that is particularly insightful. OK. I expect this kind of discussion to prolong the 'transition' not accelerate it, and in process creating support for slamming the Canadian economy. Best.
