Not me watching this while being a year PP from my second LOLLLL

We bought a mini fridge to put in the nursery week one with my first because we lived in a three story townhouse and I wasn't supposed to go downstairs for two weeks after my C-section. Breastfeeding also didn't go as planned so I needed to exclusively pump. The mini fridge SAVED us!

I loved our bidet after getting a second-degree tear. If you're on the fence about a bidet/washlet, it's so worth it
  • C-section momma here 🙋🏼‍♀️ One thing I never here people talk about with C-section recovery is how painful it can be if you let you bladder get super full. (Not sure if this is also the case for vaginal delivery.. I’ve only had C-sections so far) When I had my second C-Section I made it a point to go to bathroom as often as possible even when I didn’t feel like I had to just to keep on top of pain management.

Girl😭 when you first announced your pregnancy I commented that my due date was June 28th and you replied and said we were about a month apart.. here I am still pregnant at 41+4 (having a freebirth so waiting for him to come on his own time😅) and we’re getting closer and closer to having these babies at the same time!😆

Any old milk I had, I gave my baby baths with it. It helped with her skin issues way more than the steroid cream her doctor prescribed! I also gave her older sister a bath in it because she had a bad rash, and it cleared it up after 2 baths!
  • Wow, I am old and had my kids between 1988-1994. I used the little cups on the opposite side while nursing, I collected so much milk that way, (over supplier here) but I didn't know they had those now and they are called "ladybugs" love it. ordering those now for my daughters who are both pregnant, Aug 5, (first child due) and Early November (3rd child) ! Thanks for the idea!

Thanks for the laugh you’re hilarious!
  • My third time around I barely used the peri bottle (just for like a week or so) I didn't tear so it was a bit sore but it wasn't that bad
  • For the C-section recovery it’s less of recovery down there and more recovery of your abdomen. The bleeding is less and there’s no soreness of your Lady bits. Ha ha. But your lower stomach is extremely sore so it’s more of heating pads and scar sheets and squeeze, hugging a pillow when you sneeze or cough.
  • What is the amount/procedure for the Flax and Chia seeds for Stool softener?
  • @kimbystone
Thanks Shayla. Good reminders. I would be ecstatic if there was no nip damage with baby 2 😅
