I’ve been saying this for a minute. The Heat and Nuggets have set a standard that I can see a lot of teams try to replicate. Approach on roster construction and coach stability should be interesting.

bron aint retiring until catching alley oop from bronny
  • @Erik-vn5xk
I’m hoping for a ton of movement, the free agency class is meh but a lot of teams seem to be on the brink of making major changes
  • @Late2Hoops
If Bron retires does he do what Brady does and come back after a year or some "time off" ?
  • Both the Heat and Nuggets are examples of successful teams that aren't built around a couple or few superstars or "big names" that make headlines. They're well coached and play basketball the right way with versatile rosters from front to back and have a winning culture. I hope we see more teams replicate this approach this offseason!

As a Warriors fan whatever we do it better be smart, usually the Warriors never really do that much in the offseason but this one I can’t wait to see what we do, I FIRMLY believe we can win another championship within the next 2-3 seasons wether it’ll come next year or in the future but we have to surround our core with the right pieces and get as much bench depth as we can.
  • congrats on the collab Ken! shit's dope, and they should be sending you an ICEE machine if they're collabing with you just sayin

Due to the new CBA the Timberwolves have a pretty rough cap situation going foward with Edwards and McDaniels signing hefty extensions and potentially resigning Naz Reid to a bigger contract. Towns Contract will increase a decent chunk after next season and he likely won't be (easily) tradeable anymore. The new owners will have to decide if they really want to pay that much luxury tax for a group that so far has won a total of 3 Playoff games or if they want to move Kat, and they basically need to decide this year. Personally I hope they run it back, as aside from game 1 I think the Wolves were the most/ just as competitive as the Lakers against the Nuggets, although the Wolves missed 2 key players from the start with another getting injured during the series. But I won't have to pay all that money so idrk. I think the also have a full MLE (or maybe half) this offseason which could be very interesting and they maybe won't be able to retain Naz Reid. Mike Conley will expire next season and probably regress quite a bit over the next years and they don't really have a young up and coming PG behind him, so do they move his big Contract now (just like they did with Dlo) or will they keep him? I think that's basically the everything to come this offseason (which could extend to the Trade Deadline).
  • This offseason feels like it’ll be garbage on the outside looking in, but now that it’s approaching I feel a storm brewing
  • 03’ MJ left, Bron enters league. 23’ Bron leaving??? Wemby enters the league. Coincidence? I think not!

If the Celtics lose in 5, there will be roster changes. The Bucks are going to make roster changes in the offseason as well as find their future HC. Spurs are drafting Wemby and will want to surround him with the proper talent to succeed. Rockets will be coached by Ime Udoka next season and he has a good relationship with Jaylen Brown... JB to the Rockets? Stephen Curry only has a few more years of all-time great basketball... Warriors will be looking to go all in these next 2 years. Dame trade rumors... this offseason got everything.
  • Tell me if this is bold or not. The Pelicans are in a desperate need of pg. They traded for McCollum with the Blazers but that isn't enough. In my opinion, with Scoot probably going 3rd, the Pels should trade either for Dame or for the 3rd overall pick. This is the "controversial" part, i think they should include Zion in any of those two trades.
  • @lordhuebi
Most important decisions for the Mavs: Trade or keep the #10 pick? Resign Kyrie or maybe sign & trade? Get a center/rim protector. Get rid of bad contracts.

Portland are by far the most interesting this offseason. Throughout most off-season it would be an obvious trade dame scenarios. But as you said, there are no obvious trade candidates that 1. really need a point guard upgrade 2. Have young assets 3. Have future picks available. A young core of sharpe + scoot/miller + Simmons is a solid core going forward for Portland or any other team, should net a superstar with further picks involved, Just isn’t any available. Portlands only middle move is hoping miller falls to 3 and hoping he can contribute right away and have sharpe make a big improvement
  • @rayneozier
My team is The Hornets. I root for a few other organizations but I’m born and raised in NC and I want the Hornets to do well. I really hope they draft Scoot. I like B. Miller, but I really like Scoot. I think he could be a good running mate with and insurance policy for Lamelo who has dealt with injuries a bit
  • I think the nets could potentially make some big moves this offseason. They have a lot of players that they could trade, and draft picks to give away if they decide to make a move to pair cam Johnson and mikal bridges with another star
  • @Gram6745
I don’t think that LeBron is going to retire simply because he wants to play with Bronny and he definitely has the body to go on for a few more seasons. I also think that he is trying to get the spotlight off the fact that he got swept.
  • @Tsunam_i
Genuinely love hearing kenny opinions on basketball, appreciate the king
  • I just hope the off-season treats the heat well. I hope we can keep Martin and Vincent. But we need either a good top caliber PG or a strong C that allows Bam to move to the 4 and have more chances as a playmaker.
