Based on the thousands of lab tests I have seen at my job, magnesium deficiency is way higher than 40% of the population. I would estimate it's at least 80% if not higher.

Magnesium 11 different types 440 mg/day - males 330 mg/day - females Taking too much may cause diarrhoea 1) Inorganic salts (like oxide): have more elemental magnesium but low absorption 2) Organic salts (like citrate and glycinate): have low elemental magnesium but are more soluble and are better absorbed 1) Glycinate - key one Chelated with the amino acid glycine For anxiety Helps with relaxation Promotes sleep 2) Malate Bound to malic acid Helps body create ATP For pain, soreness, toxicity 3) Citrate - key one All-round, popular Good absorption Helps with anxiety and depression and insomnia and muscle relaxation and blood pressure Gut 4) Taurate For cardiovascular function For circulation and blood pressure and fatigue Taurine+magnesium regulate blood sugar and blood pressure 5) L threonate Deals with neurological problems Chelated Crosses blood brain barrier Sleep Memory and focus 6) Chloride Applied topically For pain and soreness and constipation 7 ) Magnesium Orotate 200 mg Chelated Magnesium for Healthy Bones, Teeth, Nerve and Muscle 8) Oxide, stearate, lactate, aspartate No benefits

  • @tam8479
Am I the only one who feels like I need a PhD in “magnesium” just to comprehend this video 😂
  • @TheRawdaddy
here's an idea, why don't they stop spiking the municipal water supply with fluoride and supplement the water with magnesium. they'd rather dumb us down with fluoride, then get us healthy wit magnesium.
  • @zenrand688
I take Natural Stacks MagTech every night - it’s a combination of Magnesium threonate, glycinate, and taurate - helps my sleep.
  • @alexxdaye1
Thank you for this! I've ALWAYS wanted to know the difference between all the magnesiums. This was VERY helpful!
  • @fbcpraise
I have now watched 5 videos on magnesium. No one agrees, and I know less than when I began. On the plus side, I feel fine and probably don’t need any of this.
  • The one supplement I could not live without nis magnesium! I LOVE it, it helps with so many things, especially anxiety!
  • @peterz53
Thanks. Agree, very important. Been taking L-threonate and citrate forms of Mg for many years. Malate added recently. On top of eating a lot of greens. Mg blood tests have shown top, or beyond top, of ref. range.

When diagnosed with Afib 8 years ago I was lucky enough to have a cardiologist who told me about magnesium and it was paramount I begin to supplement it which would help maintain my heart rhythm. Now at age 72 I can say it works very well and has for 8 years.
  • @Mazi-dc1vz
Glad i found your video, super helpful, great explanation, simple break down of the different magnesiums, and i like that you do get information from other unconventional doctors! Subscribed, i need to check out your other videos.
  • @shourov4637
Great job with gathering the informations 🙌🏻 But here's my opinion as a medical student; you don't have to do this much experiment or anything... Just go with magnesium glycinate. It doesn't upset your stomach and gets absorbed very well. At any given nutritional condition you'll start seeing visible improvement in your energy level, sleep, muscle strength just after taking it 5-7 days consecutively. It doesn't give you loose motion like other magnesium variants yet it helps with the bowel movement. Bottom line is just go for it 💪
  • @peterezzell3865
Thanks. Been taking L-threonate and citrate forms of Mg for many years. On top of eating a lot of greens.

This is my first time speaking to you. I’m so sorry to hear about your wife. I too had a stroke at 50 years old. Had a blockage in my middle cerebral artery left side affected my right brain face and some mobility, but not much we went to a doctor that did therapy right away, this removed the blockage has shown by the MRIs I had they gave me 3 to 5 years with the blockage in there that was in 2004 and I’m still here. My speech was slow at first, but I can speak now pretty well I just mix things up sometimes, so that you had a hyperbaric oxygen chamber asked for that, but they would not give it to me. Doctors said it was for diabetics and my insurance would not uncover it. I had read that it would help, though there is also a doctor in Florida who discovered something with injections into the spine that helps repair stroke damage. I signed up for your page so when I find it again, I will send the name, I did not qualify because I did not have enough damage . The therapy the removed my clot was chelation therapy. mainstream medical uses it for removing lead from the body had to go to an alternative medicine doctor paid out-of-pocket, but it worked.

I’m 71 F . I’ve taken magnesium for years. Mostly citrate. I took it mainly for regularity. I was advised to start supplementing magnesium chloride. They’re crystal flakes that dissolve in water. I think It’s helped more than previous forms. Joints feel much better and less stiff
  • @Sinasi08
I take optimag from supersmart. It contains magnesium: malate, citrate, arginate, glycerophosphate, bisglycinate, pidolate, taurinate aspartate. 100mg elemental magnesium per capsule. You decide how many capsules per day according to your needs.
