I am a retired minister. I was a minister for 30 years. It is with sorrow that I learned from my daughter that she considers herself an atheist. Her name is Sarah and I ask for prayers for Sarah. I have dealt with pain especially the last 4 years as I suffered from Guillain-Barre I am still partially paralyzed from that disease and am confined to a wheelchair now. I deal with the pain that I have by remembering the awful pain that's my Lord and Savior Jesus suffered on my behalf while hanging on the cross of crucifixion.

Thank God for JR Tolkien for influencing CS Lewis in Christianity

God alone brings meaning and clarity to life. He is our inexhaustible source of hope and joy, in the face of all our struggles. Praise Jesus.

Anyone who read the Chronicals of Naria books as a child should reread them as an adult. It's amazing how much more you get out of them. Thank you, C.S. Lewis, for returning to your faith.

Atheism gives no hope and that the suffering brought him closer to GOD. I am encouraged.

I remember falling in love with C.S. Lewis at the age of 25 when my mom bought the collection of his works and introduced me to the Chronicles of Narnia. Brilliant man, for sure ❤

A Catholic man who has always loved C.S. Lewis’s many books and have read the majority of what he wrote. He was influential in my return to the Church and to the Lord Jesus. Like Lewis this was a slow process.
