I have been struggling with guilt for 30 years… until today. after my daily morning devotion, just out of curiosity I decide to watch John Newton story, “Amazing grace”. I know God have forgiven me of all my sins but I couldn’t not forgive myself for all theses years.. now I think I can forgive myself. Thanks and praises to God for His Forgiving, “Amazing Grace” thank you for making this possible for me.

As an almost a minister, this would have been the FIRST story I would have shared, on my first day, with my new congregation. God Bless John.

Thank you for posting this amazing video. I am 84 years old and a great grandfather, and a Catholic living in Singapore. The Amazing Grace is a popular hymn in our Church especially during a funeral Mass. I only wish the Free offer of the Book "Steps To Christ" by E. C. White, can be extended to Singapore. Thank you.

What a wondrous story of yet another sinner saved by the amazing grace of God, especially considering this being a well known hymn.
  • Why is it that documentaries such as this never shows that the enslaved Africans were predominantly under the age of 15? Children packed more easily than adults and we're less likely to rebel.
  • Fantastic. Thank you so much for beautifully directed and produced documentary.
