I bought this machine. It’s unbelievable. Best mower on the market. You cannot find a 30hp diesel anywhere else I have to mow a 20acre ranch each week and this machine does it in 4-5hrs
  • “It’s kind of on the expensive side”. Ladies and gentlemen I present Mr. Understatement 😂

Purchased a 60HP Kubota utility tractor in 2017. Loved it so much that I returned to the dealership within 12 months and bought my first zero turn, a Z421. To this day, I regard those two pieces of equipment as two of the best decisions of my life. Orange ATW. 😀

I see Neil Messick. I hit thumbs up. Then.... I watch.

I sold 100s of ZD326s back in the day. Best mower they built.

My sister and I jointly bought a ZD21 in 2004. We traded it in on a ZD1211 3 years ago. The 1211 is a huge improvement over the ZD21. Much easier to maintain. I'm glad we didn't buy the ZD15 version - sounds like that engine was a PITA. I'll be in the Carlisle store tomorrow (where I bought the 1211) to see how much that air ride seat costs. I'm 81 years old and mow 3 acres. My 79 year old sister and I share the mower. She mows 2.5 acres with it, so does my nephew. I think I'd love that seat. Might have to drive to Mount Joy to sit on one to convince my partners in the mower.

“A little bit on the expensive side”🤦‍♂️.. my 20 year old $100 craftsman still mows my yard like a golf course green. $27,000. You’re nuts!

I'm from Australia, I only run my ZT in the winter. The summers are too hot and dry for the grass to grow. But in winter, the rains bring massive growth for the grass. If I had enough water to waste on a lawn, I'd need to run my mower all year round. If I had the money, (and the water), I'd be looking at getting that kubota, awesome machine!

Bought a ZD1211 off a buddy a few years ago for a steal. Was at the 800hr mark and needed that service and a set of tires. Been super happy with it. I maintain a 320 acre property with about 70 of it needing mowed each week (4 days mowing, 1 day trimming). My "fast" mower was my Dixie Chopper 72" but she's down for a oil leak in the case. Can't beat the Kubota for what I'm doing. Def would like that air-ride seat!

Im a landscape business owner and the price of these mowers and equipment are getting crazy. Im seeing some over $30k now. The amount that has to be charged to the customer to pay for the mower and pay yourself is substantially going up. There has to be a stopping point somewhere. I was at my local dealer last tuesday and they have a new mower thats $45,000. My newest mower i bought last year has increased $1,800 above what i paid last year.

I bought one of those seats and use it as a TV-watching chair in my house.

I bought a ZD1021 in 2014, I love that thing, it only has about 200 hrs on it in 2023 because it cut our mowing time by almost an hour from the old 54 gas rider we had. Accessibility for servicing is kind of a pain but the machine is awesome.

I thank The Good Lord I bought my ZD331P in 2011 when people told me I was crazy for buying a 15,000 dollar mower. It’s a 31hp diesel that has none of the emissions or particulate filter stuff on it. It has been a wonderful mower with no issues at all. It’s the first mower I have owned with no problems. I wouldn’t get rid of it for anything and I plan on passing it down to my son. There is no way I would be able to afford it now because it would easily be over 30,000 dollars now.

I have two friends who traded their tractors in for one of these (obviously not farmers.. just home owners with acreage). They used their tractors a lot while building their houses but once building was finished, they mainly only used their tractors to finish mow 5-10 acres. They realized they could trade their tractors in for one of these and cut their payment nearly in half while getting a better cut in half the time. Both of them are very happy with their decision.

I'm not even in the market for a zero turn, but i still watched the video. Great job!

My ZD1211 cutting 12 acres of grass up and down hills on our small family farm, worth every penny!! Yearly maintenance plus deck wheels on my 72” rear discharge… easy to order parts from Messicks!! I wouldn’t trade it for anything!! Make sure to grease those zerk fittings weekly!!
  • @robertwhite9898
That mower is a beast ! Perfect for large yards! You’ve keyed on torque. Yes that’s what Diesel engines are known for & they can last . As with any machine regardless of what it is maintenance is key to its longevity & reliability. If you take care of it it will take care of you & serve you well
  • @rustynorris7
We have a 2012 zd326 w 60" side discharge deck. Bought new it's the last year made of the zd326. Completely happy since day one. 0 issues. I look forward to using it every time

That's a beast Neil!!! Still love my old ZD28 around our farm. Just over 700 original hrs on it and wouldn't trade it for anything! 🙂 Kubota makes the best zero turns! Thanks for the video!
