Petaling Jaya is one of the best cities in Selangor, right next to KL.

Just fun watching you explore 😊..the suburbs out of KL are the best! The Petaling District, I reckon, is the most intresting. Lots of great malls, parks, great food, hip vibes, actvities and quite walkable areas. Pj was designed as a satelite township for KL so really well-developed.

There is a free rooftop garden with a huge variety of plants at the 1 utama mall called the secret garden which you can visit next time

Welcome to PJ. Take the LRT to Paramount station, it's a nice neighborhood and lots of eateries there. The same LRT line to Taman Jaya station will land you to another park, and a very old mall where they have flee market during weekends.

Go to Desa Park City, there's this park called the Waterfront and you'll see a bunch of dogs there. It's known as the most dog friendly park in KL/Selangor area. Desa Park City is one of the upscale neighborhoods / suburbs in KL/Selangor and I think you can make a decent video hanging around the area. :) Mont Kiara is also another nice neighborhood you can check out if you haven't already. And yeah, tons of stuff for you to do in PJ. It's a very important area, one of the main cities in the Klang Valley region. Generally speaking anyone who lives in Selangor/KL or as we say the Klang Valley region will go there often whether for work or recreation. The outer regions of KL honestly, like PJ, will feel more 'local' IMO and give you a more authentic look into the day to day life of Malaysians living in KL/Selangor, at least when compared to central KL.
