It can be really difficult to let go of these people. I've had to recently. He was one of my best friends but the more I thought about it friendship the more I raised he didn't value it. There's tons more I could say about it but in the end I think I'm better off not having him in my life

Great wisdom! I totally agree and have removed people that have used me in the past and were never friends, they just wanted something from me the whole time.
  • Real words... Thx for making me realize the importance of removing toxic people.. No wonder, I'm feeling drained

Some "friends" ease into their abuse so gradually that you might not even realize it's happening, some people don't realize they befriended a monster until it's to a tipping point. Often times they get outraged at you trying to move on or cutting off ties with them so they feel like its justified to attempt to destroy your image as retaliation or revenge or to find the one thing that hurts you the most, your most sensitive aspect about you. Never give into their abusive or childish behavior it's only to bate you back into speaking to them, Remain strong and keep on ignoring them. If they show up where you live, Don't answer the door.

  • True. Don't put up with nonsense and abuse of any kind. Get out of the snake-pit, dust yourself off and keep going.
  • I’ve cut off a lot of people from my life and I can honestly say that at first you do feel guilty about it but afterwards you start having life much more enjoyable and less stressful and then the guilt goes away.
