Sofie, I watched this video almost daily several weeks before our trip to Italy. It was so helpful and actually was enough to converse with almost everyone. The people there were extremely friendly and appreciated the effort I had taken to speak their language. I think it helped make our two week trip easier, and a lot more fun. Grazie, Janie

My friends get annoyed when I speak Arabic, so I’m just gonna learn some Italian to annoy them.

Davvero bravissima. Hai spiegato molto bene tutte le varie differenze. Potresti fare molti video del genere per insegnare l'italiano agli stranieri interessati ad apprendere la nostra lingua 😆 Una bacio

Such a beautiful language, proud of my heritage
  • My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!

In Germany a lot of people say "Ciao" for goodbye as well. I found that kind of strange haha
  • Something about you when you speak Italian, makes it easier for me to learn. I wish you could teach me personally.
  • @dwad9162
thank you very much. I am Italian and Lebanese. Mainly Italian though and my friends always ask me to speak Italian to them but I was only taught English and i am just now trying to get down the basics of Italian.

Grazie Sofie, I'm going on a global summit school trip to Rome this Thanksgiving week. You're a big help with all of these tips & tricks!
  • @STELLA-go7vt
When I visited Sicily, everybody that we talked to would say "Ciao", even people we didn't know. It's interesting that people in Rome are more formal, than in other parts of Italy.

  • @nealbangia4525
In terms of your Italian accent and your presentation, you epitomize the ideal Italian. As an added bonus, your mastery of the English language is phenomenal.
