I think he might have a point. I used to work with a couple Muslims and they were really lovely people and I even would do Ramadan with them. But one day we were all messing around and somehow the topic of Jews came up and the Muslims outright stated how much they disliked the Jews and it wasn't in a shocking joking kind of way. They were absolutely serious about it, which made little sense because these guys were british born and not so crazy extremist from memri t.v.

I can see the logic in Gad's arguments. As a Syrian, I have seen this ideology first-hand and I know how toxic it is. However, this is the point about ideologies (particularly religious ones) and how they can lead to evil! What I feel here is that Gad is cherry-picking examples to prove his point, this I have a problem with. For example, I lived in the UK for a long time. I know the story of cross county Asian criminal gangs. It is shocking but minimal in terms of the number of individuals involved and also the number of victims (dozens but I doubt hundreds, definitely NOT thousands!!)
