Dayspring talks about this in a lot of his lectures! The reason that veggies lower cholesterol is because the receptors take up the plant sterols which blocks the receptors from taking up real healthy cholesterol. So then the body eliminates the real stuff driving the levels down, only to then reject the plant sterols BECAUSE THEY CANT BE USED BY YOUR BODY! If they do get into your cells ,there is hell to pay! So,plants DO lower cholesterol, but, its not a good thing. Yes, it looks good on your doctors score sheet , insurance and medical compliance and such, but not helping you as much as they would like you to believe.

Thank you for making this subject easy to understand

Great bite-sized chunks of information. Please explain if oxidised LDL particles make up the majority, then wouldn't there be a distinct difference between high level LDL in a person consuming seed oils compared to someone who doesn't?

Hey Paul, your Shure MV7 is not a side address microphone. You need to point it at your mouth, not so that you are talking past its capsule from the side. That's why you don't sound good in this video and there's tons of reverb from your room.

Coconut oil has the lowest amount of phytosterols compared to olive oil and avocado, not to mention seed oils. Is it yet toxic?
  • My body doesn't want high cholesterol. After 10 months on carnivore and high LDL, I got yellow blotches around my eyes (a symptom of too much LDL) and sharp hot pain in the soles of my feet and toes (probably another symptom, although it could be something else that carnivore didn't cure in me like insulin resistance or MS). Carnivore isn't for everyone and for some people after months on carnivore, the symptoms they thought gone for good start to return even though they stay on the diet.

Hi Paul my LDL is 5.5, triglycerides 1.1, HDL 1.6, on sub fraction tests my LDL small density is 4.5, CAC score 241 my GP says bad genetics need to take statins. Do you agree or know of good doctor on same page as you in Perth that I could visit? Great videos thanks much appreciated if can advise.

Missed opportunity. "Cholesterol doesnt cause heart disease but blah blah blah" people are gonna go I better just keep it low just in case. Also Paul misinterpreted the coconut oil study and 2 years later still rabbiting on about that.
