God this hits different when you are older, even just by a decade or so, sadly my dad past away while I was second grade, but I remember every morning when he use to take me to the YMCA for my swimming practice I would always hear this on the radio... I miss the past, and the more simple life I had.
  • I remember when this used to play on the radio all the time while I was being driven to school, or to some Mcdonalds or Walmart. Good ol times. Miss this kinda stuff.

The sun goes down The stars come out And all that counts Is here and now My universe will never be the same I'm glad you came You cast a spell on me, spell on me You hit me like the sky fell on me, fell on me And I decided you look well on me, well on me So let's go somewhere no-one else can see, you and me Turn the lights out now Now I'll take you by the hand Hand you another drink Drink it if you can Can you spend a little time Time is slipping away away from us so stay Stay with me I can make Make you glad you came The sun goes down The stars come out And all that counts Is here and now My universe will never be the same I'm glad you came I'm glad you came You cast a spell on me, spell on me You hit me like the sky fell on me, fell on me And I decided you look well on me, well on me So let's go somewhere no-one else can see, you and me Turn the lights out now Now I'll take you by the hand Hand you another drink Drink it if you can Can you spend a little time Time is slipping away away from us so stay Stay with me I can make Make you glad you came The sun goes down The stars come out And all that counts Is here and now My universe will never be the same I'm glad you came I'm glad you came I'm glad you came So glad you came I'm glad you came I'm glad you came The sun goes down The stars come out And all that counts Is here and now My universe will never be the same I'm glad you came I'm glad you came🎤🎶
  • Glad You Came The Wanted-I find this song festive and exhilarating to listen to. I admit that this is another song that grew on me after I started hearing Glad You Came more often by the spring/summer 2012 timeframe.

Man I used to listen to this on the radio all the time in my room when I was around 7 years old. It took me around 30 minutes to remember the name and can remember all the lyrics by heart till this day. This song never gets old.

When I was in elementary, they would play this song at the carnival near the summer just when the sun started to set, and that brings back so many memories, it was always so peaceful

I miss being 12 and riding in my dads truck at night and we'd play this song, my dad is no longer with us, he refused to move with us. So technically he's not in my life, even though i wish he would answer my calls T-T.
