Xbox2HDMI - Seamless HDMI Output for the Original Xbox!

Published 2021-08-01
The Wii2HDMI modules are available all over the web and are used by many OG Xbox hobbyists to achieve HDMI output. Unfortunately, they are known to produce HDMI video that has a lot of interference and discoloration due to their cheap construction and they don't allow for Dolby Digital Surround Sound output from the Xbox. Luckily, the Electron Shepherd team has developed a custom, smaller, and higher-quality module that utilizes the latest technology available to achieve HDMI output from your Xbox with embedded digital audio.

Check out the Electron Shepherd store at electron-shepherd.com/xbox2hdmi to purchase them today!

This is an amazing product, I did have an issue since surround sound 1.5 wasn’t working properly for me, that wasn’t a huge deal tho since I just toggled it off in the softmod settings, if your like me and want to get a chimeric systems adapter but are currently on their super long waiting list then this is an amazing product since it outputs such an amazing picture heck I’d say this gives chimeric systems competition due to the price point, both are great products being worked on by great people, but this is an amazing product that displays an amazing image you can’t get quality at this price anywhere else! Impressive work all of you at electron shepherd seriously this is amazing!
  • I feel a bit of satisfaction knowing I posted about this product on some channels of higher visibility and told them how the items they mentioned were not only overpriced and nearly as discreet. Glad to see you sold out and are making more soon...works great.

Very good product I highly recommend it, I got mine today and works perfect, I'm very happy thank you very much guys! I tried the pound cable and another adapter from amazon And this one surpasses in everything the others that I tested, the sharpness is exceptional, the audio works well, I don't feel lag, the images do not look dark like with the pound cable and I don't see lines or noise on my 4k tv or gaming monitor either! great job guys!!! Just buy it people!

I bought this recently. I love it. I plan on doing a review about it later.
  • Our team is currently working hard to fix an issue that these modules have with very select TVs when used with Revision 1.0 Xbox's that prevents the TV from playing any sound. Follow us on Twitter for updates on this issue. If you are not sure whether or not your Xbox is a Revision 1.0 hardware, then you can check this guide as a reference: xboxdevwiki.net/Hardware_Revisions
  • Looks like that console needs a mod. Or two. Loud fan/fans depending on model. And a hardmod using openxenium would allow you to boot to whatever modified dash you want like uix lite which is a modified OG dash. And also if you modify the console you can save it from death from the clock capacitor if needed. Also is there going to be other ones for other consoles like for Wii and ps2 and Dreamcast? I think Dreamcast would be interesting because ability for vga and component. I think component is best for compatibility.

There is a problem that I have with this adapter depending on the TV that I'm using. Older TV's that can automatically detect 4:3 and 16:9 signals all behave appropriately, however newer TVs that don't make this distinction will always force widescreen, resulting in any games that only support 4:3 being stretched. Adjusting the system settings has no effect on this issue.

and here i am loving standard component lol never had a single issue there
  • @JLMtime
the stress caused by these adapters without dongles causes me to lose color when ever moving the console I personally think these cables need dongles to prevent pinching internally
