A tour of our work in progress studio - by ARNE & CARLOS

Oh WOW, your studio is just amazing! My goodness, the height of the ceiling!! What really got my attention was the craftsmanship; how the wooden beams intersect with each other. It will be a wonderful space to work in (especially now that "that THING is going", much to Arne's content, lol). Thank you for letting us in your private working space. I really appreciated it. Love the old suitcases as storage units. ❤

What a unique collection of old suitcases! You both have very eclectic tastes , and I so enjoy when you takes us on tour of all your wondrous items.

What caught my attention is how very open and sincere you both are about your progress and moving ahead. For all of us that make plans there is the reality that change comes unexpectedly. We can easily get stuck in it or use the liminal space between now and then to rearrange our priorities. Your positive and realistic aspirations are inspiring. Bravo

Love the mini tour! Makes me smile…so many plans, so many UFOs and so little time! One can never get bored!! Love it! ❤ I can identify 😂

Oh, Arne. You should take your grandmothers basket into the house. It's so beautiful and she would want you to use it and enjoy it. Not let it rot in the shop. Why have it if you won't enjoy it? I use vacuum bags, they are fun Carlos

Wow.. what a great space for a studio! And Arne, you need that tree decorated year round!! How fun and inspiring it is to have a tree up. I have a small one up in my bedroom and change the decorations on it throughout the year. Even laying balls of yarn on your tree would look great. 😊 🧶

This studio is filled with so many memories for you both. I'm loving these tours! The tree on its rolling base is genius. I'm wondering about those doors behind you...I'm going to guess you aren't going to use them as actual doors!

Oh! I had to let the dog out right when you began . . . I came back and for a minute thought you were taking us through a thrift store!

Thank goodness I'm not the only one with a crowded place with multiple projects in one stage of development or another.. from carpentry to crochet! I feel just fine about it now! Ha! ❤

Vacuum seal bags are the best thing ever and have revolutionized my storage capacity!!!!

I always enjoy the two of you, and your personalities. I probably related more to Arne, and his thinking process. However, you, Carlos are much more centered, and a great match for Arne. Love the way you share your lives and your love of life. I am not good at knitting, but have crocheted most of my life. I also appreciate all of your creative ideas. It is also , great to see all the scenery and places you travel. Take care

I love how you use old suitcases for storage. So clever! I need to take advantage of vacuum storage bags more than I do. Is that an old painted door back in the back? Sort of where the xmas tree was. It looked pretty. Thanks so much for giving us peeks into various parts of your abode. I appreciate it so much -- the fact that you let us into your private spaces is very generous. Take care, and take your time with your time off from Sit and Knit for a Bit. You guys have been so dedicated through all of the world's craziness.

The bird cage caught my eye! I used to raise canaries. When I heard their song for the first time, it captivated me! It was difficult to find canaries where I live, so I decided to breed them so others could enjoy their song. My mom and my sister each got a canary from me. I would love to see the birdcage up there on the shelf in your workshop!

I LOVE the wooden table that Arne had his doll house furniture drawings on……so wonderful!! I also love the old suitcases. I do that exact same thing and find them so much more interesting than having a bunch of the plastic bins. I hope you two are enjoying your spring🌸

No wonder you never look at the spinning wheel at the thrift shop! You already have one! On your thrift store episodes, I whisper, " go look at the spinning wheel" :)

I would like to see Arne's Nana's basket in the house. It needs to be seen and admired.

I like the little red lunch box or at least it’s what it looks like. It’s near the Christmas tree and I believe in a smallish white basket. I can see that being used as a trunk for the clothes of your new dollhouse, dolls. But in my place I would have fabric stamps stored neatly, to make bags for my knitting. Ah guys. Thank you so much for taking us on your creative journey and future plans. I enjoyed your guest house tour and I could just see myself laying in that cozy bed and just peacefully sleeping. Thank you again for letting us in to see how Arne and Carlos live and work.
