best reviews ever: brief, directed to most consumer needs, detailed but still straight to the point, and well-defined objective and subjective statements.

My C1 is on its way today. I am excited as this will be my first OLED!

This channel has been so useful for me this last month while I've been researching my upgrade to OLED. Thanks for the great content. Now I need to see if you have some opinions about the rest of my home theater setup.

Hey ! I want to buy an LG CX and I want to clarify some questions that I have. 1. If I connect my PC via HDMI to the LG CX and a YAS 207 soundbar via Optical Audio to the LG will I be able to play bluray movies on the TV (including those with DTS sound) ? 2. I have a GTX 670 graphics card capable of only 4k@30 fps through HDMI. Will it be a problem playing 4k 24 fps movies? If so, should I play upscaled full hd movies instead? Will they look better than on full hd resolution? That is until the graphics card market is back to normal and I can afford a better graphics card

Hey I was wondering what your experience was with the ABL feature on the C1 OLED? I’m on the fence whether to get an OLED as I passionately hate it when a TV decides to auto-adjust brightness scene to scene, or with gaming. Is it something that happens often / is noticeable enough to potentially annoy a viewer? Thanks in advance!
  • @archwaytech
I totally agree with your comments! I’ve been installing lots of both of these TV’s and the Samsung has appealed to more people due to its extreme brightness and being a well rounded package. The LG on the other hand is more for those that crave the best image quality with very pleasing motion blur and don’t have super bright rooms, or just watch TV at night. Thanks for sharing 😊

Hey Caleb, which TV would you pick if you needed to display an Excel spreadsheet (which we use as sort of a project board) via Airplay, which obviously will have a lot of static images?

Dear Mr. Denison, Did you notice the bloming of QN90A TV increase at different viewing angle?
  • @Arsenal64
What about watching sports which one is the best for viewing live sports? Which one can you turn off the motion blur/Soap Opera effect feature off?

Hey Caleb! Great videos, been watching a lot of them. What speakers are in most of your tv review videos?

Good compensation and review. Would it also be possible to review / compare the Samsung QN95A ?

Need to put two tvs side by side playing same contents under normal lighting conditions.
  • @Handsx
looking at these two tvs right now, along with the sony a80j and sony x95j. my main concern is black level detail/black crush and motion handling. i am very perceptive to these two details and have found the demo model oleds at best buy to be very off putting. compared to the mini-led models, i cant see crap in dark scenes on the oleds...but i dont know if this is a setting issue as the store hasnt properly calibrated the oled units, or if thats just oled. i did see the qd-oled by samsung today and its much better with black detail but still not comparable to mini-led. anyone have advice? all 4 of these tvs are the same price in my area and im having a hard time deciding! i mostly watch movies via 4k player and netflix from a chromecast ultra. thanks!

My gaming room is always dark, no windows so the most light might be the lamp itself, will the Samsung still be a sufficient purchase since its primarily good for bright sunlit rooms from the sounds of most commentary regarding the QN90A. Changing the settings perhaps might make it close to how the LG may project its images?
  • One thing that reviewers never talk about is fragility. I've had 2 OLEDs show up to my house from Newegg damaged. I'm never going with them again on a TV but I'm also paranoid about how thin the damn screen is too now in general.
  • @AnthonySkatz
I got last year's LG CX for about $300 cheaper than the LG C1 is going for now, and based on what I've read, I'd probably see if I could get last year's CX, even with the newer gaming additions. I specifically got the CX to pair with my Xbox Series X, and I'd be stunned if the C1 was THAT much better for the price hike.

Where did you get your sideboard from? Looks really good
  • @Krmelj
Hey, does local dimming make auditable noise when it switches on/off on the Samsung? Had a tv with that years ago, and it was pretty loud when backlighting switched on in quiet movie scenes. Thanks
