About gentrification, Scotty is right. It is a horrible thing. It is the reason that I had to pay more than double of what I expected for a house. A house in the neighborhood that I grew up in.Not only was the asking price double my original budget, but I was in a bidding situation and had to pay 20,000 more than asking. So not only does gentrification raise the cost of houses, it also raises the price of rents. It drives out the long-term residents because they can no longer afford to live in the area where their family has lived for maybe generations. After raising the cost of housing, the property taxes go up, too. Mine went up 125%. All because a group of over privileged people with lots money decide to invade older established neighborhoods.

It’s a shame Rivian is ran by idiots. Those trucks are nice and really powerful. I live in the town they were gonna build in Georgia. They flattened it, cut down the trees and left . Run off is horrible, nothing but mud now.
