I Tried The Complete Apple Ecosystem - Worth The Money?

Is the Apple Ecosystem Worth it? Which products can you buy "out of ecosystem" and when is it beneficial to buy more Apple stuff? I tested the entire ecosystem to find out.

Technology has changed and the products that a company makes don’t actually matter as much anymore. Like Apple could make overpriced headphones or a heavy VR headset and people would still buy them, and even rave about them. But did you ever wonder why that is? Sure, they are viewed as a premium brand and for the most part, I agree that Apple makes fantastic products, but there is a deeper answer. You see, you can no longer review one product individually without looking at the entire ecosystem. Companies like Apple have built extensive and tightly woven ecosystems of products to keep you buying their products and away from the competition. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing though. The features offer incredible interoperability that otherwise would not be possible. And I tested just about every Apple product on the market and every feature in their ecosystem. So is the Apple ecosystem actually worth it? And which products are best purchased within the ecosystem vs when it it better to buy, say, a different brand of earbuds or smart speakers

Ok, but honestly that crack on his phone’s back glass is so aesthetic lol

The way I view the "Apple Ecosystem" is the convenience of having one account iCloud connected to all your devices, syncing data. It's definitely a plus, but nothing mind-blowing. Like yeah, you don't have to enter your iPhone's hotspot password on your Mac, but on my PC, I entered my Galaxy's password once, and it is saved in my WiFi networks. It's a tiny convenience, not a feature.

I’m definitely an Apple girlie, I started with an iPhone 3GS way back in the day and now I own a MacBook Pro, iPad, AirPods Pro, iPhone 15 Pro, and my Apple Watch SE. The Apple ecosystem is just so seamless and works so well I can’t see myself leaving Apple any time soon.

I used to be team android. I had a MacBook for a while. But the iPad really is just the best for note taking and I really contribute it to my recent success in college. I got an IPhone at the same time and oh my god.... The ecosystem makes a HUGE difference. Getting the right documents to wherever I need it for class is just so easy. I remember really struggling when I had my galaxy. I'm planning to get a watch soon too.
  • I'm a hard core android user, but I really enjoyed this video! A lot of my family uses apple products and they talk about the same things you were talking about. I hope this video gets more views!

Android and Windows user for almost all of my life. Switched to Apple in late 2021, now I have an iPhone 15 Pro, MacBook Pro M1, Apple Watch SE, iPad Air, AirPods Pro, Beats Studio Pro, AirTag, Apple Card, and Apple TV 4K. I have never been more productive. Android and Windows are still great, always will be. But I think I’m an Apple user for life now. Seamless, simple, clean, and most of the time it works. The Apple ecosystem is absolutely worth it!

For a number of years I have preferred the Samsung phones to iPhones but have stuck with Apple because of the ecosystem. It just works really, really well. People often say that Apple traps people but, having used a couple of Android phones, I realised that if you are not in Apple's ecosystem, you are in Samsung/Google's and I trust Apple more than I trust Google.

the apple ecosystem is what makes the whole thing worth it, just as an example: you type something into your apple maps on your phone and you can get the directions on your watch immediately. its just better than anything else out there because of this

This is by far easily the top overview video of the Apple ecosystem. Even went on into the apps as well! Thanks, man!

I got Powerbeats pro and works pretty much the same as AirPods. Same goes with the dual connectivity which is great 😊

Wow, if you buy in Brazil through the official Apple website, it costs over 21 thousand dollars (and I didn't even include speakers and Vision Pro because they're not sold here) 😵‍💫

I really like apple ecosystem. I personally prefer Sony earphones. It have better sound quality and two device connectivity too. I am a student. Ecosystem helps a lot with my homework’s and assignments. Using iPhone for projects for capturing stuff and working on the go and when I got to home it all synced with iPad. I want to add more apple products to my ecosystem. For example MacBook and an Apple Watch. I use a windows pc and third party softwares to sync. It disturbs me sometimes. I really want to switch to Mac as soon as possible.

The red tag on your shirt that says “fashion” 😂 nice Also the AirPods listen to iPhone feature is really useful for really loud pubs and for people who are hard of hearing.
  • @Kevdog1920
Great comparison to all apple devices, I agree with everything

Great video. This was a very good video! It was knowledgeable about the subject without the loaded language and drama we typically get from YouTubers. None of that “trapped” in the ecosystem or “it’s only marketing” nonsense. It’s baffling to hear buying products that are very capable and offer a superior performance than other devices described as a NEGATIVE. Apple doesn’t make using other manufacturer’s products with Apple products a LESS enjoyable experience than other users, they make using their products with their other Apple products a BETTER experience.

You did a video a couple of years ago for “Smartwatch as your Phone.” I tried that and love it so my one addition to the ecosystem would be to better integrate the Watch with other devices and deprioritize the iPhone as the flagship so those of us feeling the pull of smartphone addiction can step away from the phone. My dream ecosystem would be a Cellular iPad + Apple Watch, a Mac Desktop computer and an Apple TV. If we are wish casting I would love it for Apple came out with a “Digital notebook” with Eink like the Remarkable or the Kindle Scribe.
