There were bright moments, but after this trip, I called out for the next.

Oh, Steven! So glad you had great crew and (mostly) wonderful passengers. I'd last about two minutes as a gate agent! My last trip was a four-day (and I had a four-day previously with one day off between). Go-home day had us flying from Spokane to San Diego to Portland and home by 1:30... we're all boarded and ready to close... outside the ground crew is disconnecting the big yellow HVAC tube - and one guy's hat gets sucked into the air intake -- the hat disappears into the plane! After waiting an hour, we had to deplane all passengers and their belongings. Maintenance had to take off a panel and dig the hat out piece by piece. Three and half hours later, we board again and head to PDX. Home around 5:30 instead...

Love your videos. You tell it like it is. So funny when you say …” Blah Blah Blah” 😆

Hey Steven, the cheesesteak will have mushrooms only if you ask for them. The person taking your order must have misunderstood what you wanted. As a native Philadelphian, I apologize for the ignorance of some. Thankfully, we are not all the same. Also, next time in Philly, check out the Museum of Illusion. I think you may enjoy it.

Wow that sounded like a brutal trip ❤❤❤
  • Hey, Steven ! I’m with AA and I finished my last trip at 9 am in the morning! I didn’t however make it home to ATL until 1am the next morning! Our airplane was delayed with a maintenance issue and we started having rolling delays! I understand how you feel, by the time I got home I was so exhausted! But like you I did had an amazing crew which totally made the trip worthwhile! Sometimes we as flight attendants just need a break to take care of ourselves, even though our job is amazing we still just need to decompress!
  • In Pennsylvania those orange cones we call them the state flower. And it never ends you know when you come from one state to Person you know it .

You never know when You'll need a Drs Bag. I'd totally bought the red one next to the green one that was next to it. It would be a good overnight bag and conversation piece.
  • Hi Steven 🙂 New subscriber Thank you. You have no idea how much I appreciate your videos. The black with gold trimmed collared uniform is so you! Or maybe it's just colors I like 😅 Anyways, I'm like the saddest and loneliest around and you're now one of my favorite channels. Thank you so much for broadcasting your life. You do it so well. Smart and witty and everything nice. Thank you!

Philadelphia is my most favorite city! (I live in Milwaukee.) I'm not a red meat eater, so I can't truly comment on the cheese steaks, but I've never seen one with mushrooms. At Reading Terminal Market, I always go for seafood. The place I usually went to (other than Pearl's) was near the pig statue. There was a place that had really good (and different grilled cheese--but I don't know if that is still there. You needed to get soft pretzels, Bassett Ice cream, a dessert crepe. In the summer try some water ice. The "Rocky Steps" is the art museum...Van Gogh Sunflowers are there. And if you have access to a car, you can visit my favorite cemetery...Laurel Hill. (Creeped you out at the end, didn't i?)
  • Philly native here. Next time try DiNic's roast pork in Reading Terminal market. That is the real Philly sandwich. Also cannolis from Termini Bros.
  • I recently flew cross country and Charlotte NC was a mess. I kept thinking what would Steven say? 😂

Hi Steven, I must meal prep because I'm Celiac. I work a 40 hour block shift in a group home, and I just happen to be preparing my Philly meat for cheese steak this weekend. Much love Fly Safe!

No wonder you're stressed! You have the perfect personality for that job.
  • I don’t understand hotel rooms without microwaves. Maybe it’s a fire hazard thing and some municipalities aren’t allowed? But just a cheap low wattage one can’t be that expensive for a hotel. I don’t get why in 2024 they only have 1 you’re allowed to use in the whole hotel. 😂 they should put that in your contracts next time they negotiate which hotels their crew are gonna use.
