The anthropology professor literally showed us why his ratings were accurate 😂

you can tell which professors are good teachers by how they react to criticism

The dynamic and chemistry between these two chem prof made me double check if they have the same last name
  • “That’s so old it doesn’t even matter,” says the Anthropology professor

I like how the Professor at 1:30 flat out just said "Yeah, that was a rough year for me". I applaud him for being transparent, and acknowledging that he had some unfortunate things behind the scenes affecting him. I think that what some people don't realize is that it's incredibly hard to appeal to every student that you teach, and leaving them informed with lectures every single day is extremely difficult if you get even the slightest bit distracted.

Bret Gustafson is the type of professor who thinks that if some students manage to do good in his class, then the ones who did bad must've done bad because of their own issues.
  • I really liked how the chemistry professors took the criticisms as valid and were not offended but also gave some perspective as to what was going on in their personal lives during that time

Chemistry would be kinda chill to hang with these professors but you gotta be committed to learning the material.
  • @TheDrexxus
The chemistry teachers had the best chemistry. Also I think its ironic, in a sad sort of way, that the anthropology professor is one of those types that can't take criticism at all and blames literally everyone else for his own failings. He is definitely a tool. And not a sharp one.
  • The dynamic between the chem professoirs is fucking awesome
  • @mimio008
What I noticed is that the chem professors were able to pinpoint the exact semester the criticism was made in. Meaning it was so out of character for them...
  • @weebygg
My professor used to write fake reviews of himself on rate my professor, and we all could tell 😂

I'm surprised that someone who studies and teaches anthropology is so defensive. I'm curious as to how he approaches his subjects with curiosity and an open mind?
  • that grown man did not just say "too bad you don't have your name on here", and his reactions to criticism, id hate to be in this guy's class.
  • Wow, Bret Gustafson (the first prof who shows up) is a tool, who didn’t add any context or reasons as to why people may have struggled in his class, and is then surprised when people called him a tool?! Wow, what a surprise! :D
  • The chemistry department have the best chemistry. Sorry, had to do it.

the dynamic you get when 2 collogues read each others reviews is 100% better than solo content
