WOWZA! Today, we take a look at the 22Convention, which is a self-help convention made specifically for women...put on by a bunch of dudes! The whole concept of this convention was just so insane to me, so I decided to talk about it and see if they really know what they're talking about (spoiler alert: they don't). Enjoy!

These dudes don't like women's rights because that means women have the right not to be with them. I'm sure that's a liberty that women nationwide are taking full advantage of.
  • @Aly-ym9yi
He really went “women can be empowered but I can’t be racist??? Disgusting.”

One time my stepbrother said "if women are equal I can hit a girl then" and I told him he wasnt allowed to hit boys either because its literally illegal. His brain short circuited.
  • @cmbara102
I never understood the whole equal rights = you can hit a woman. Um. Do they not realise they legally can't hit a man either? Because that's assault?
  • Women: "can yall just respect us maybe" *That* man: "tHaTs LiTeRaLlY tHe Kkk"
  • @catc8943
"until ~90% of their eggs are dead at age 30" ...do they realize that 10% of a woman's eggs is still TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND eggs?

as a woman, i can confirm we raised our femininity by 500%. I have spawned 728 babies this year!
  • @yagirluhh4127
okay but imagine this... you go through 9 months of pregnancy, give birth, which is a major body changing experience, and then raise a child for 18 years, and then that child turns out to be one of the misogynistic men at this convention... id die

"Women are acting more like men which leads to more broken families" Translation- because women have jobs, they aren't forced to stay in a toxic relationship and have the power to leave :(

16:37 My girlfriend is very into traditional femininity. Her aspiration in life is to be a housewife. She’s been like this since she was little, and made it well known when I met her. But she’s also a feminist who believes in equal rights. That can coexist. And no one is forcing these women to reject traditional femininity??? There are plenty of women who enjoy that, and choose that path.

no way in hell that guy actually compared the womens right movement with the KKK? what planet is that man on?
  • @fahmida6135
I thought the whole point of being straight is to like women...
  • @laurachels
i love that women openly saying they deserve rights is “acting like men” and men expressing genuine emotion and caring for the people around them is “acting like women” like my dudes i dont think those traits are gendered i think it’s just called being a functioning human being
  • @ashegrey3042
as a single mom, it BAFFLES me that WOMEN are always blamed for becoming single moms 😂 like you know MAJORITY of the time it’s bc the GUY ….LEFT…..right???
  • @capslock4604
“Women have been unhappy since 1970!” No, women have been unhappy the whole time. We just weren’t allowed to open our own bank accounts until the 1960’s, or open our own credit lines w/o discrimination until 1974. Meaning when we got financial autonomy, we started speaking out more often.

"Men want debt-free virgins without tattoos." Incidentally, I am a debt-free virgin without tattoos, but I don't want any of these men.

I've always noticed that books written in and around the 1800s by WOMEN have always portrayed women's views completely differently than books by MEN. In books like Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, Little House on the Prairie, Gone with the Wind, ex cetera, the women are usually sensible, strong, intelligent and not just weak emotional wrecks who love to cook and clean. In short, they actually have personality traits besides being kind and nurturing. While books by men usually portray at least one woman as a weak, stumbling idiot who has no purpose in life but to bear men's children.
  • as a woman watching this video actually brings me to tears. its so genuinely frightening and disheartening that men like this are out there :/ sometimes being a woman is so tiring
