Follow it up with a displeased look on his face concerning Kim's gift at the same time you see Kim talk to a person behind Putin. "He was talking to a translator or to his security staff." It doesn't matter, it was a political gift exchange and mannerism is more important than the gift. Damn right Putin noticed when Kim turned away. 2:00 Power play here, Putin forced Kim to be the one to turn, release grip and walk away. It was dominance assertion. He glanced at Kim's translator a few times to acknowledge the conversation but he never once "truly" broke eye contact, he again forced Kim to do so and Kim did multi times during the exchange. 2:06 and again at 2:23, 06 he broke full eye contact and at 23 he focused more on the translator than on Putin. I'm not praising Putin, not at a time like this but damn he has shown how powerful of a leader he can be and this video lowkey shows how weak Kim really is. I'm not talking about power like "Oh my god political control blah blah" I'm talking about controlling a conversation, dominance assertion, like when you get into an argument with your parents and your grandparent speaks up and all of a sudden the conflict is over because your grandparent has that "kind of power."

I feel like the longest handshake is actually putin crushing Kim's hand without letting go in a way to say "don't get on my bad side"
