You forgot to mention the best part of fasting! No dishes to wash. :)
  • I'm 8.5 hours away from completing my first 7 day fast. Today I feel amazing, mental clarity. KEEP ON FASTING PEOPLE šŸ’š
  • Iā€™m 73 years old and just 12 hours from completing an 84 hour fast! Iā€™m so proud of myself! These videos have been a ā€œlife lineā€ to my success!
  • Iā€™m trying out 72hours fast for the first time. Iā€™m at the 39th hourā€¦. Iā€™m super proud of myself, never knew iā€™ll make it this far. Iā€™m just here to get more motivation to keep me going. Thanks for the video.
  • I am 51 years old and I have been practicing water fasting (no food and only water) for prolonged periods since I was 22 years old. Until I was 45 years, I used to fast once a year for periods of 7-18 days. Lately, I have been fasting twice a year for 3-5 days. The following points are a summary of my experience with fasting - I have never felt hungry during my fast. I feel the desire to eat when smelling food or watching others eat, but never felt hungry - First two days are the hardest, then I usually experience a spike of energy and good feeling - Light excercise is a must on daily bases. I usually walk or garden - Food tastes much better after breaking the fast. Your senses of food taste improve in a great way after fasting Hope the above helps you enjoy fasting and improve your health
  • Intermittant fasting now for 3 years-my aches and pains have gone away plus my energy and work levels have improved-79 years old going on 80 and on no medications.

Im reading all the comments and its helping me keep motivated to continue my fast. Im 39.5 hours into my water fast. I was good until I smelled someone cooking pancakesšŸ„ŗ. I had to talk myself out of breaking my fast. Im feeling pretty good minus a few jitters. No stomach cramps or major headaches, Thank God! Im aiming for 72 hours as my goal. Im so close.šŸ¤žšŸ˜‡šŸ™

Iā€™m finishing my 31st day of a water fast and Iā€™ve never felt better. I donā€™t have an issue with eating. I look forward to eating again when my body indicates I need to but it is worth the sacrifice. I was morbidly obese and had over 100 lbs to lose when I started. It has been a team effort as I am working with a nutrition coach and a doctor.
  • Didnā€™t quite make it to 72 hours but did make it to 60 hours! My first fast so proud of me. Thanks Doctor!! For helping me begin my health care journey!
  • @venericanone
About 14 hours from finishing a 5 day fast. Keep it up people! You got this
  • @mmab62
I am on my 86th hour toward the way on a 185 hour fast - I feel less hungry as I progress - and Iā€™ve lost 5.6 lbs after cheating on the keto diet - iā€™ve found the key for losing weight is keto + occasionally prolonged fasting especially when hitting a plateau - just fast for 3 days (72 hours) and youā€™ll break that stall in weight loss - iā€™ve done this weekly for nearly 30 weeks - and the pounds are dropping off like crazy. I started at 368.0 lbs on April 4th 2023, and as of this morning February 26th 2024 I am 204.4 on my digital scale. A loss of 163.6 lbs in almost 11 months next Monday March 4th 2024.

On hour 33 of a 72hr fast. Hunger went away, mental sharpness has kicked in, and feeling great! I do this every month to give my body a reset and increase autophagy. In the best shape of my life thanks to regular intermittent fasting and occasional prolonged fastsšŸ™šŸ½
  • Doctors kept telling me that I had to take medicine for the rest of my life but 3 years later fasting and exercising I have never felt better with no medicine.
  • @missi7196
I'm on day 2 and it's rough. I've done longer fasts but this one really sucks for some reason. I know I just need to make it another day or two and I'll be set...for anyone else struggling with me, hang in there!!
  • @fcrick6967
Well done fellow fasters! I'm new to this and I'm 3 hours from my first 24 hour fast. 24 hours isn't huge but a big deal to me. Definitely something I'll be doing long term āš•ļøšŸ„—
  • @thomaswycoff2618
I just completed a 90 DAY water fast and lost 91 lbs. I ve never felt better and no longer have a long list of diseases ( diabetes/ hypertension/ a-fib/ apnea/ and more).
  • @CatrachoDNYC
I'm diabetic, got to 310 pounds. Suffered depression, body aches, neuropathy, vision problems etc etc. It's been a long process for me but I'm finally on my way. I thought I would die if I didn't eat every 3 hours, I was addicted to sugar, bread and everything that is bad for us including alcohol and cigarettes, I have finally made it to 48 hrs fasting and I am now 240 pounds. My glucose levels are normalizing, slowly but it's happening. 171 glucose šŸ†˜ when I wake up. Today I will try to reach 72 hours fasting. Good luck to everyone working to get healthy. Blessings.
  • @Jdeneik
I have cancer and fasted 4 1/2 days prior to my chemo. I feel relatively symptom free! I will continue this ever 3 weeks before each infusion! Thank you for this life changing strategy.!
  • @ronnysifamaya6590
Keep on fasting, I did a cleanse first, then fasted for 6 days! Best thing I have done in my life. I do intermittent fasting every day. I reversed my menopause symptoms, vertigo and inflammation in my body. DO IT
