I was beyond disgusted as an nba fan at the round of boos kristaps garnered after realizing his NBA dream. I mean, wow... you could tell it crushed him. Kristaps is a 19yo, foreign born/bred player w/ serious talent. He needs to gain 30 or so pounds but has all of the other tools from a talent perspective to be good in the nba (on both ends). If kristaps realizes his potential prior to his 2nd deal, i hope he leaves the knicks. Ungrateful bastards. The knicks deserve to wallow in irrelevance. The knicks didn't need a "sure thing'. That franchise needs a freaking homerun. Period. That's why i'm ok w/ them picking him over hezonja, stein, johnson and even winslow (although winslow has star potential as well). I'll be rooting for him.

I think many NBA fans freak out whenever foreign players are drafted because all they see are the ghosts of Darko, Bargnani, etc. but any dude with half-decent knowledge of basketball whos seen this kid knows how high his upside is. Seriously, as a diehard NYK fan i am more than pleased with this pick, he was clearly the best possible pick at #4, and i hope everything turns out for the best. (Which it probably wont cause this is NY :D )

Knick's fans are ungrateful. He is an amazing player. He's a forward that can shoot, has great offense, can be a post player etc.... I would of loved for him to come to the Rockets we need big guys that can shoot free throws. But really we need another good point guard.

Knicks won draft night. This man was booed by his new team fans in front of his family on the biggest night of his young life. He didn't flinch and brushed it off. Jahlil Okafor was heckled by a rival fan in another city. He loses his cool and gets into a street fight. Truth.
