“You have to start romanticizing your life. You have to start thinking of yourself as the main character. Because if you don’t, life will continue to pass you by. And all the little things that make it so beautiful, will continue to go unnoticed. So take a second, and look around, and realize that it’s a blessing for you to be here right now”

Hello friends! Today I'm sharing some of the ways that I romanticize my life, along with tips for how to be happier and appreciate the little things :) I often think of my life as a movie, and I have started to remind myself that I am the main character of my life. I've started to focus more on living in the moment, and appreciating the little things. There's no secret to romanticizing life. It's just about viewing the world with a bit of added magic and actively trying to be enchanted by your daily life :)
I hope you enjoy the video and cottagecore/light academia vibes! Sending you a warm virtual hug and some homemade chocolate chip cookies! 💗

you can romanticize your life without being aesthetically perfect. romanticize that ugly cup of coffee while studying, romanticize your trip to work or college, romanticize making dinner with whatever you have in the fridge, romanticize your time studying a subject you don't like by playing some music and drinking something you like. you can romanticize laying on your bed on your pajamas playing games! it's not about wanting to be her, is about loving who you are and what you do. once you are happy with what you do, you'll look as happy as her.

I deliver pizza as a night job and I love driving and looking at the Christmas lights and I love seeing people’s front door decorations and delivering to the regulars and delivering to little kids that are so ecstatic for pizza they can’t contain themselves. It is ALL about your attitude.

A saying I saw on a mug . . . “It takes so little to go from Bread and Water to TOAST and TEA”
  • Anyone else cry through this WHOLE video? I suffer from depression. This was so beautiful to see and be reminded that life is beautiful no matter how bad I mentally feel. I'm inspired. Thank you!
  • @LindaCaztell
I love how you didn’t need anyone else to create those moments of happiness. As someone who has a hard time socializing and maintaining relationships it was beautiful to see 😊

This video makes me want to cry because I once viewed the world this way. A magical place. I just can't remember when everything went downhill.

I work at a movie theater and I just love seeing how happy people are to see movies and get the concessions food. I love working in a place that gives people so much joy :)

I just wanted to say thank you so much for this vlog. I'm 53yo and I have 40% burns after being set on fire and after everything I've been through and raising two boys I had forgotten to enjoy the pretty little things in life so today I purchased a copy of Anne of Green Gables, bought a very pretty vintage English plate with a bunch of pink flowers on it and a silver candelabra to put next to my bed. You might not know it but your vlogs do change people, you remind us to reset and to take time out to enjoy the little things in life like dancing in the rain...which I always do every time it rains...again, thank you. Fip.
  • Oh the beauty of this video is making me cry and smile simultaneously. At first I thought “ I want to live in her world “. And then I realized “ Actually, I want to create my own world like this “.
  • @briana14333
How can you not smile watching this?! What a beautiful philosophy. My takeaway is to never lose that childlike wonderment and appreciate all you have.
  • @otherlands94

  • Romanticizing my life is truly helping me to cope with my mental health problems, with my anxiety and a feeling that I have to achieve as many things in a day as possible - it calms me down, lets me to enjoy little moments of peace and happiness :)

as a very suicidal person, this hits hard. yes, there is ALWAYS something to live for. always something beautiful, always someone or something that loves you. so if anyone else is struggling, please know, you are loved. by the sunshine on you face, by your favorite novels, by your cup of morning tea. you are loved by your pets, your bed. there is always something to live for, so please, please stay here to love each of them as much as they love you back <3 (edit) guys ive never gotten this many likes on a comment before, im so happy! xD thanks so much!! (edit #2) im trying to reply to everyone who replies, i'm very sorry if i accidentally respond twice or miss anyone! <3

This video reminded me of how I felt as a kid. Every little moment I felt like I was in a movie, like I was playing a role and every move I made was special and magical. I was so happy and got lost in the moment, in little things. You reminded me of having those moments again and trying to get lost in those beautiful little moments.
