One of my favorite moments in Death Note

So I didn't expect this comment section to be filled with man children. 1: no, I don't have to list in the title if it's sub or dub, I don't care and neither do the vast majority of people. 2: This channel is a positive place where people can come and chill and have fun, and I promise you will not ruin that by tearing down things others enjoy, be miserable far away from me or any viewers of this channel. 3: when you say "I like sub" that's based. When you say "dub suck, subs are better." That makes you sound weak. 4: If you harrass anyone, you will be banned from my channel. Its a small channel, I promise I will see your comment and remove it. Act like adults.

I think Ryuk is just making up an excuse to help Light. Ryuk has to appear neutral, but he really does want Light to keep going as long as possible, because it's more fun that way.

Ryuk just don't want Light to get caught just yet, he's enjoying the show.

I have recently just realised how amazing Death Note really is. Fantastic plot, fantastic music and fantastic direction. I need to watch this show again at some point.

I used to watch this show on repeat all the time growing up. It was one of my very first animes and it never gets dull upon rewatching. I think the show definitely climaxed at L's death, but it still had a satisfying ending. I remember watching the dubbed version one day after school and my dad kicked down my door shouting that "This is a subbed-only household!" before beating me with jumper cables. Definitely a top 5 anime all time, in my opinion.

honestly this is better dubbed, its more sudden from ryuk and the fact ryuk just isnt there anymore fits better with his dialouge and is honestly creepy

People tend to forget Ryuk is a “God Of Death” he was not trying to help light but probally had his reasons for saying that someone was stalking them…

"I'm here to stay until the Death Note is finished." Implying that actually the Death Note contains a finite amount of pages and will eventually run out.

i feel like the real reason behind rykus uneasiness in this scene is because hes curious about who the stalker is and wants light to find out for him

I don’t wanna be dramatic by saying this but, i’m not kidding when i tell u that my heart dropped the moment he said “Your being followed by another human, he’s watching u right now” (1:07)

I was frigthened for my life during this entire video and not for the reason you expect. The entire time i was waiting for elliot hulse to come out of some sort of shadow and jumpscare the shit out of me, leaving my soul separated from my body. When will it happen? Will it be loud? Am I ready for it? are things I was asking myself the entire time until I saw the title and description. All is well
