Yep all these disorders seem to cross over here and there it seems 😢 but the common denominator is not diagnosed or under diagnised or miss diagnosed ...sad how there are so many experts but real people cant afford them and slip through the cracks ...😢

My dear old Dad was a very wise man ❤ I remember when I was raising my kids and had a very difficult child . Often times I would give into him just to keep the peace ✌️ my father told me kids were like planting a small tree 🌲, if you plant it crooked it will grow crooked. My child was three at the time and had conduct behaviour. He is now in his late 30 and diagnosed with Antisocial personality disorder 😢 “crooked Tree” so much suffering.

Based on my experiences, I think permissive parenting can be a huge factor in the development of this personality disorder. I witnessed my two older brothers poor behaviour (conduct disorder) as children through to teens and adulthood. I think that had it been nipped in the bud as children, the outcome may have been different. Our mother enabled and turned a blind eye to it, and I believe they figured that out early. If my dad wasn't there to witness it, he was none the wiser because our mom wouldn't tell dad either (he was a hard working, but detached, old-school style of parent). The result was the eldest abusing and using my mom and others until the day he died three years ago at 58 (fentanyl OD). The other brother, now 55, has learned to fly under the radar in terms of actually getting caught doing criminal acts. However, he has controlled, exploited and bullied our mom and abused others too (including me) just as our older brother had. That brother recently badgered, then assaulted our 85 year old dad during a visit at he and his wife's home! It is amazing to me that I have other siblings that have adopted our mother's enabling and coddling and deny or minimize the behaviour and reality of the situation!

I have 3 brain aneurysms I think my anti social anxiety comes from. I just have no room or money to paint anymore and problems with my son. Love you always Dr. Phil mostly always right.
