At this point I bet I can drive from Scotty's house to the drag strip with my eyes closed 🤣🤣
  • @sdcoinshooter
I can always feel the love whenever Scotty removes a plastic beauty cover….
  • @manifoldnook1
My 2016 Accent gets 40 plus miles per gallon if the AC is off. Changed the alternator at 93000. 100000 now no other problems. Great little car.
  • @deangray1823
I have a 2009 Hyundai Sonata with 139,000 miles, so far so good! It was made in Alabama.
  • @rudder727
I bought a used Hyundai Elantra that replaced my Honda Civic for my commuting. Except for a crappy paint job the car was great and never had any major issues. Reliable and got good gas mileage.
  • @M361CREW
Misfires can sometimes present themselves only while idling, during light acceleration, or during a cold-start. You focused mostly on duplicating misfires during hard acceleration in the video and gave the impression that's the only time engines misfire.
  • @johnl3230
Had a 2016 Soul with the same engine, was kinda crappy. Catalytic converter (79k miles) was going bad and seemed like it was gonna nickel and dime me to death. Took real good care of it too.
  • I have a 2017 Elantra I bought new Fully loaded with everything. 95.000 miles now, 4000 mile oil changes, 1 transmission fluid change at 50.000 miles. 0 repairs. Just a new battery, and new tires at 49.000 miles. Still runs and drives like new. Will be getting another transmission service, and coolant exchange soon.
  • @jouster1945
It’s always a good day when Scotty posts a video and says “by any stretch of the imagination.” 😂 Love that.
  • “That is good gas mileage” my favorite line from the entire episode 👏👏
  • @mp40jager
I'm on my third Hyundai Accent. love the car. New new 2022 accent got up to 45 miles per gallon on a trip across country.
  • It did not misfire, but the engine blew up after going 60 in first gear.
  • @xcmskim4
Since 2018, the Accent has been built in Mexico. Also, 2022 is the last model year for the Accent as Hyundai has decided to discontinue it.
  • @mxrcx9797
I have one of those but it is the 2012 hatchback version. It does the job. Cold ice AC and the power is decent on the expressway. I have 80k miles on it and have only spent $250 dollars in one repair (a sensor) decent little cars.
  • I bought a non turbo Hyundai Veloster new in 2016. I put 176,000 trouble free miles on that car in 3 years. The DCT transmission glitched or hung up 3 times over my period of ownership. No big deal. My biggest thing was that the Hyundai customer service was crap. I had a door speaker that whistled all the time even when off. Two dealers claimed they didn’t hear anything. So I vowed I wouldn’t buy another Hyundai
  • We own one of the 2015 model with 6 speed manual transmission . It has about 110 thousand ks on it and has been a wonderful and reliable car . Made in Korea and only serviced by the dealer . Same colour as the one you have here . Still on original battery but the 3rd set of tyres . Regards from your subscribers in Australia
  • @patknado
I had this thing. Same color an everything. I had already had it for 5 years before I started doing my own maintenance. I usually pushed the oil to 7-9k miles. By the time I started changing it myself (~130k miles), It was burning quarts of oil. I'd still have this little guy if I took better care of it.
  • Nothing wrong with the base model. They honestly last the longest there's less s*** to break. They usually have the base engine with the least power so the transmission lasts the longest. They usually manuals and everything inside. The car is usually manual and power. Windows break a lot more often than manual ones. I'll tell you that unless your arm is broken, your windows pretty much going to work
  • scotty: loves toyota, is okay with hyundai/kia, hates audis and bmw, the engine cover and everything that comes out of the engine is stupid
