I see alot of comments about this song saying it is about suicide. The lyrics arent about her actually commiting suicide or in the act of it, It's more figurative. I guess you could say it relates to suicide but that isnt what the song is about. The song is about substance abuse. "One, Two, Three, One, Two, Three Drink, Throw em back til I lose count" and followed by "I'm gonna swing from a chandelier" is saying she's going to be free and not care about the consequences in order to distract herself from suicide- "Im just holding on for tonight" She abuses her body in order to just hold on for another day because its the only thing that will allow her to feel free. "Im going to fly like a bird through the night, feel my tears as they dry." It isnt a song about suicide it is about surviving it, or atleast trying to. Even within the song Sia sings "Oh, Im holding on for dear life, Wont look down, Wont open my eyes, Keep my glass full until morning and night- because I'm just holding on for dear life" It could not be any clearer. //also, Chandelier is an homage to Sia and one of the times in her life where she did alot of the things shes describing, It is a sad song but it holds alot of meaning and I love it very much// Thanks for reading

اول مره سمعتها كان العام الماضي وكانت عندي الامتحانات النهائية وبالضبط امتحان احياء الساعه 7:19 مساءً وكان يجتازني قلق مو طبيعي وخوف اني ما رح اوصل للتسعين لان كان مره صعب رغم حتلو اذا ما اخذت هيك درجه ما رح اتضرر ولا رح انجح بس كان في سبب وراء ذلك ومن سعمت صوت سيا وتحديدا ذي الاغنية تملكني شغف وقوة وحماس مو طبيعي وضليت للصبح لحد ما دخلت قاعة الامتحان واني ادرس والحمد لله اخذت بوقتها 100 صح التوفيق من الله سبحانه وتعالى اولا وثاني شي لان اني حيل بوقتها تعبت على نفسي. لكن كان لسيا دور مش طبيعي وللحين هي بتأثر عليه احبها مره الله يهديها وتدخل الاسلام لان مره احبها .♡
