I wish i had this guy 20 years ago. So good at identifying and explaining what's going wrong.

You have singlehandedly fixed my ollies. After watching this short and the one about not touching the ground when you pop, I felt decades of struggling with ollies melt away in ONE TRY. If you ever sell a masterclass on coaching I’ll buy two.

I don't skate but I keep liking your videos becaue you deserve to be paired with your audience and your students deserve to find you.
  • @Dannygainss
Man. I ALWAYS tell kids this when they ask how to ollie! Awesome to see you’re teaching this way as well!
  • @wolfdragon4176
THANK YOU IVE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR YEARS. when I teach people Ollie's I just get them to focus on popping and jumping, the slide comes with time and comfortability.

I saw an Ollie in 88 when I was on tour with my Hardcore Punk band in Eastern Canada.. a kid was in Halifax, skating around the city park. We were there, doing acid drops off of everything .. that kid took us to the lawn. We started to learn to Ollie on the grass!! Once I could kick then land it. ? Then I took it to the street. By the time we were head to the next city I had it down.. one of the greatest BASE LINE moves..

You make me want to pick up a new board and get back into skating. Your knowledge of the sport is incredible. Thank you for blessing all of us with your teaching. I’ve told you once and I’ll say it again, I’ve NEVER seen a better coach. And that goes for all sports!

You’re actually a proper coach, a lot of people make tutorials because they are good at skateboarding, but being a good skater does not translate to being a good teacher
  • @The5LazyNinjas
i’m gonna ollie something while skating this year! thank you for the tips! this is EXACTLY what i needed 10 years ago when i was skateboarding 😂
  • @FuserOfSouls
I love people that take the effort to explain things in a clear simple way. Things are only complicated when you don’t understand it. Thanks 🙏🏻
  • @Ronsino.
Mitchie you are great! Cant believe we were blessed to see you as a young kid just upping the bar in competitions to now I get these shorts all the time and your knowledge and ability to help others apply it is amazing.
  • Wow, you're the best skateboard coach i've seen on YT. I've really enjoyed every single on of your shorts / videos so far! As a beginner skater myself, i was wondering if you could ever do a video on easy or intermediate beginner skate tricks, whether it be flatground or ramp / park based. Much love and big ups! ❤
  • @RiZeArooski
Whenever someone asks me how to do a trick I always refer them to your channel. Your teaching alone has helped me land so many tricks I dreamed of landing as a kid. Thanks a lot man, great stuff.
  • @brandonpike3154
I skated for years and I swear i wasted alot of time trying to figure out why some of my tricks took so much longer to learn. If I had mitch near me It would of saved me so much aggrivation and time. You're the best! 🤟
  • @411smiths
