Native Oregonians are so deeply connected to this place. My Grandfather worked on the rock work during the WPA construction. I have been studying the ecology of the floral meadows with the goal of restoring the beauty of the damaged areas at the edge of the lodge patio. I'd say many of our souls live on at the place.

I used to fly up to Portland from L. A., rent a car and ski a few days each summer at Timberline in August. People couldn’t believe there was a U.S. ski area consistently open through the summer months.

Love how this video has people riding bikes down the front. They banned bikes in the parking lot for some stupid reason

What could have been a lovely story was completely ruined by the background noisetrack. Viewers are not here for noise, or what some may call music, we are here for the history. The noise is overwhelming, like an ice pick to the brain. Sad.
